Use of coordinates in addition to description: There are add-ons available (such as GW2Navi) that make visible the game's built-in map coordinates. There are other gw2 wiki pages with coordinates used for scavenger hunt style quests such as: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/No_Mask_Left_Behind There are projects requesting coordinates be added to pages such as for NPCs: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:Projects/NPC_Coordinates The preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.124.203.18 (talk).

While coordinates are in fact useful, you also reverted the waypoint links and other fixes made to the article, which are objectively helpful to the article alongside the listed coordinates. That being said, the wiki does use coordinates (and we do have a project for that), but it's mainly used for events and NPCs (it's even called NPC coordinates), seldom on walkthroughs because they require a bit more than just a number to tell players where what is — this can be seen from No Mask Left Behind where coordinates are combined with a map and hyperlinks linking back to the walkthrough.
I don't mind adding coordinates, but making it clear that they are in fact coordinates (via a map, perhaps), as well as having functional waypoint links on the article. I'll be reinstating the waypoint links and the fixes to wording, but keeping your coordinates at the end of the lines. —Ventriloquist 18:01, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Feedback 2020/11/28[edit]

Pact Encampment Waypoint is ambiguous. Two links are given, one in the ruins of Arah, whereas the other is in verdant brink (and is the one in question here). The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nickajshelden (talk).

Good catch; the waypoint template was evidently built with the assumption that lookup values would be unique, so with the reused name it returns both matches. I've switched the page to use the correct waypoint's id instead of the shared name. - Felix Omni 14:36, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
