nobody knows exactly how you get these. They don't come with every chest they are more random.
- As of yesterday they still dropped for me from the 2 selected dailies for fotm dailies. That is not the Tier X dailies, but the specific leveled dailies. -Darqam (talk) 14:41, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
After they added preview option for daily chests, Fractal Research Page no longer drops (they are not shown in preview window either). Is it a bug?

- I completed my fractal research book yesterday, so pages still drop from the "Daily <number> fractal" dailies (exactly as Darqam says, tier 1 or tier 2 ones don't give pages) -Chieftain Alex

- Well I'm not HoT player and have 12 Fractal Pages in my inventory. So now this item is only for HoT players? What a bias.
- No, you just have to complete the upper tier fractals to receive the chest i.e. L50 and upwards. —Ventriloquist 12:04, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Well I'm at L70 now, and since preview update no Papers for me (doing T3 on daily basis). So I'm wonder if this is a bug or some kind of nerf.
- You should still be able to get one of the 'Daily Recommended Fractal: Scale X' without having HoT --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 12:45, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- You are right. I mistaken chests. Non HoT players can get Fractal Research Page from T1 recomended daily. Sorry for misslead. I skipped recomended fractals all together, thats why I didn't get new Pages.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this page, but any vendor that contains this item just shows a locked icon rather than the item icon. --Hitakashi (talk) 05:46, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the bug report. The page had somewhow lost its semantic properties (the thing in the background that drives all the icon associations etc). I've made a random edit and that's re-generated the properties. -Chieftain Alex 17:04, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Fractal Initiate's Research Chest DOES NOT reward a Fractal Research Page - confirmed with Arenanet —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 14:13, 10 September 2022 (talk) at 81.135.203.12 (UTC).
- Do you have at least Follows Advice in the Fractal Attunement mastery track? According to Fractal Research Page#Notes, they only drop if you have that. Adeira Tasharo (talk) 15:07, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Did today's T1 rec with User:Sime, can confirm the page drops from the chest no matter mastery. Maybe you got it confused with Fractal Initiate's Chest? DJemba (talk) 21:56, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
About note on the bottom of the page 2023/03/12[edit]
As stated above by DJemba, is it necessary to have Follows Advice mastery or is it outdated?
