Whatever exists in GW1 doesn't really have anything much to do with GW2. This is not the feedback space, and there is none on this wiki... you'd be better off voicing your opinion on official forums. Mediggo 11:43, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

1) Uhhh... Make sense much? It has the SAME NAME and looks 95% like the Diamond Aegis from GW1... It's the same shield. While it wont have the same stats as the GW1 shield... that is a far cry from, "doesn't really have anything much to do with GW2".

2) Thanks for letting me know that this is not a "feedback space". Too bad you were only 1.5 years late in letting the OP know that :P

ArenaNet can do as they please as they reimplement content like these HoM items from GW1. I'm letting you know that this is not talk space suitable for feedback because you're obviously new on GW2W. I'm not telling that to all commenters above because, as you said, the discussion is old, and they quite likely know of the practice already. Also, if you were going to input your comment to previous chain, it should have been properly intended. You're also making a rather hypocritical point by saying that you're "replying" to such an old discussion whilst chastising me on the very same. :) My point was that the general consensus on GW2W is that mainspace article talk pages are meant for discussion on revisions of the article and documenting the subject, Diamond Aegis. Your feedback here doesn't really add anything useful either, as everyone have their own opinions of what's good looking gear and what isn't. If you wish to continue discussing of this, common practices on GW2W or anything else, please do so on a user talk page, preferably mine or your own, or more suitable place for general wiki discussion like the community portal talk.
