Trivia[edit]

Name reminds me of "Where's Waldo?" I'm sure the gameplay doesn't resemble it at all though. SarielV 20 x 20px 18:43, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Exemplar's Bloodstone Trap Basic Solution[edit]

I'm going to post the "basic" (not "With Friends Like These..." achievement) solution to the trapped Exemplar puzzle in .jpg form. If it should have a spoiler warning, I apologize; please format it as so (I sadly don't know how). Also, if there's a more efficient solution (fewer steps) than mine, please inform me so I can make a new set of diagrams. In addition, I'm working on a solution for the "With Friends Like These..." achievement; I will add it hopefully soon. --Messenger (talk) 08:54, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

Note: I compared my notes with videos of the puzzle and it looks like they all have a fixed starting pattern for the glyphs. --Messenger (talk) 08:58, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Videos show that Justicar Araya's bloodstone trap also spawns with a fixed starting pattern. I'll work on a solution for hers as well. --Messenger (talk) 09:44, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Steps 3 and 5 of the solution are redundant and should be removed. Note that with this kind of puzzle, the minimal solution *never* involves hitting any of the spots more than once. -- Gudy (talk) 10:00, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! :-) All puzzles done. --Messenger (talk) 17:38, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
The solution diagram chains are excellent, but probably over the top. A single "hit these four glyphs" diagram is all that's needed. The "With Friends Like These" achievement solution is simply "hit the other four glyphs instead". (A basic parity argument proves that the order makes no difference - draw up a diagram and push coins or dice around it, if you're not convinced. And one puzzle is simply the mirror-image of the other, with the fact concealed by the squared layout.) And the Justiciar puzzles are simply the Exemplar ones, rotated 90 degrees. -- Doghouse13 (talk) 15:54, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
YEP. I began to notice that you could switch the order of the steps around, but I didn't want to edit the article/make new diagrams without being sure that all solutions that way would work. --Messenger (talk) 11:59, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
It needs more verbiage. It makes no sense at all the way it is written. Daddicus (talk) 02:40, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
OK, I was wrong. It's not too bad. But, it should be prefaced by mentioning that you have to in the room with her. (I was in the first doorway when I read it. My apologies!) Daddicus (talk) 03:02, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Feedback 2017/09/15[edit]

Looking at the pictures for the puzzles, I have no idea what they are supposed to mean. Circles, dots, lines. Solution? Can those please be explained in any way? :) 95.91.231.231 09:57, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

The box of 8 circles represent the runes around the trap. The lines out from the center indicate which runes are active, while the runes without lines are inactive. The middle diagram doesn't explain much to me, but hopefully that makes things a bit clearer for you.--Rognik (talk) 12:23, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
Agreed. The diagrams are not sufficient and should just be removed. It would be quicker just doing the puzzle at random than trying to work out whatever it is that these diagrams are trying to show. Basically you need 3 lit together in a row to be able to turn it off completely (you hit the middle one). However you get to THAT point I would need to provide a 4 step diagram. I can put one on but it will most likely be hand drawn. Based on the FIRST diagram: 1. Hit top middle. 2. Hit right middle 3. Hit lower right corner. 4. Hit bottom middle... DONE! The diagrams that are on there at present are trying to show that but are insufficient.--92.238.227.68 22:03, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
I'm in total agreement with you here. I've removed the original image - it's visually pretty but also pretty useless. I've added my own diagram and the four steps as suggested. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:08, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Edit: I've now finished replacing the diagrams. If somebody could please eyeball these and check they're correct that'd be fantastic. Thanks. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:26, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Great! That looks correct to me. That is way better than what was on there originally. Also, the original said: "do it in any order..." (which it can be) but that is a bad idea when giving a solution like this. It is clearer to do what you have done there and provide an order. I would maybe recommend that people should consider literally redoing the mission if they get it out of sequence (which it probably will be because (I would imagine) most people would have attempted it already before coming here). It seems a bit extreme, but it is quite tedious trying to get it done when you have started differently. --92.238.227.68 00:27, 7 January 2020 (UTC)

Where is Kerida/Livia's song from, and is there a full version of it?[edit]

Also, what is the meaning behind the lyrics? --161.142.226.238 13:20, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

It is the song of the Zephyrites about Glint. ~Sime 14:46, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Private talk with Anise at the Palace Temple was changed? (27.07.2023)[edit]

She says, “So, Balthazar. You realize what this means?" if the character is also human. Was it a bug?

Things that didn't work for 500 Alex......[edit]

New User: So freeing the shining blade exemplar...activating all of the glytphs did nothing other than add to my continued frustration at this point.

Final 4 statues[edit]

The 4 statues in the room with the boos fight do not seem to take damage from anything other than AOE attacks. Not sure if this is a new thing or not. BloodyRiz (talk) 05:18, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
