Dialogue
The Edge of the Mists
Escape from Lion's Arch
- At Vigilant Hills
- You're here! Good! Were you in Lion's Arch? Did you see Scarlet? Is she there? I can't find a single person who saw her there.
- This could be my last chance to see her in action while still young and cute enough that she won't kill me outright.
- I know. She's dangerous. I get it. But you can't make gold without breaking a few beakers. I don't want to talk to her anymore. I just want to observe. Surely I could do that!
- Oh, all right. I won't go there. I'm not stupid. Besides, Scarlet's not even there.
- No. And you're not going to tell her, are you? Besides. Vigil. Right there. And when I'm ready to go home, the gate to Rata Sum is just up a few stairs in the fortress.
- I like to learn. I just don't believe that sitting in a lab—listening to a boring old magidork—is the way to do it. No offense.
- For the record, I'm not boring.
You don't like your studies, do you?
- ?
Does Zojja know you're out here? (asura only?)
- Keep collecting eyewitness reports. You're bound to learn something.
Do not go into Lion's Arch. The miasma will kill you.
- I can't believe you just said that.
She's killing lots of people, Taimi. Killing them dead. It's not a game.
- You're betting too much on her good will.
What do you care?
- She's not there. Stop looking.
Battle for Lion's Arch
- At Vigilant Hills
- I keep hearing the most terrible stories from the people coming out of Lion's Arch. Is is all true? Is Scarlet really responsible for all those deaths?
- They wouldn't let me through the gate, not even Scruffy, but if you see Scarlet, could you give her a message for me?
- Tell her that I will be far more powerful than she ever will, and one day, I'll find her and make her pay for this.
- I'm not afraid of her! Much.
- Just stay here in the camp until this is over. It'll ease my mind.
We'll see. You're safe if she doesn't know you exist.
What do you want me to say?
- (If the player character has completed Scarlet's End)
- What? Really? Like dead dead? Are you sure?
- Was there lots of blood? Did you see her guts? She went down fighting right?
- She hurt Braham? Is he okay? What happened? Did he lose any body parts?
- She broke his leg. You can visit him later, in the Dead End.
She did. And injured Braham and-
Positive. I killed her myself.
It's too late Taimi. She's dead.
- You're betting too much on her good will.
Those and more.
- Most definitely.
Battle for Lion's Arch: Aftermath
- Primary article: The Dead End (Aftermath)#Dialogue
- I told you so. I told you all. I knew Scarlet had grand plans, but did you listen? No. And now, there's at least one dragon, maybe more, who want to destroy all of Tyria.
- I didn't lie. She was. Okay, maybe I underestimated just how dangerous she was, but that's a minor thing. I just wanted to see her lab and maybe be her apprentice for a while.
- I know that. That's why I didn't do it, silly.
- You were right about her grand plans, though.
She'd have killed you.
You also told us Scarlet was fascinating.
- Mind your manners.
