Dialogue[edit]

Before the event starts
Professor Maciver: Good, you're back. We found more artifacts.
Lionguard Scratchblade: Huh. I thought you'd be tired of digging in the dirt by now.
Professor Maciver: Yeah, and I thought you'd be tired of bashing pirates by now.
Lionguard Scratchblade: Worry about your duties; I'll worry about mine.
Professor Maciver: Perhaps you don't worry enough, Lionguard. It appears that you were followed.
Lionguard Scratchblade: What? It's the pirates!
Veteran Covington's Quartermaster: You were far too easy to follow. And it will be far too easy to rid you of that treasure.
Lionguard Scratchblade: Don't touch those artifacts. You don't want to know what happens when they're disturbed!
Veteran Covington's Quartermaster: We'll take our chances. Kill these sorry bookworms! Use their hollow skulls to carry back your treasure!
Event completion
Professor Maciver: Success is ours!
Event failure
Professor Maciver: Well, this is an enormous setback! We'll have to work doubly hard to get back on schedule.
Explorer Gillia: I'll get out the shovels again.
Professor Maciver: Yes, and hurry!
Lionguard Scratchblade: Should we stay and help out?
Professor Maciver: No, you've done enough! Just return to Lion's Arch and make sure the stolen artifacts don't end up on the black market.
Lionguard Scratchblade: Suit yourself.
