I know some of my colleagues may complain, but I see our mission here as a prime example of Durmand Priory initative. Outside-the-box thinking at its finest.

Your mission here?

We're here to study the crystals inside the cave just up north. The cave is dangerous, the skritt are already thoroughly ensconced inside, and they're skilled at locating and retrieving shiny objects.

So the skritt are working for you?

Not yet, but we're working to win them over. We're hoping to get them to take all the risks, do all the dirty work, and surrender all the crystals to us.

And what do you give them in return?

That's the only tiny hurdle we have left. Once we figure that out, we're in business.
