Lars Orjjan is a norn traveler found in the Trade Commons that tells players about the Kodan.

- This is my first visit to Hoelbrak. I have to admit that it takes my breath away. Only one other time have I ever seen anything so magnificent.
What was that other time?
- It was in the far north. I stood at the edge of a vast body of frozen water, and there, before me, was a floating ice ship. It was a kodan city. My mouth fell open in awe.
- How big was the floating city?
- Never seen anything like it. It towered over me, easily as large as Hoelbrak, and yet it floated in the water like a glacier.
- What were the kodan like?
- They were incredible. They stayed in their bear form, armored and armed, as if it were their natural form. I could hear them calling to one another across the icescape. Their voices echoed.
- Did you approach them?
- No. They didn't look hostile, but such a vast ship could house thousands of them. I wanted to consult with the elders before greeting them.
A wise decision. Good-bye.
- Okay, then. Have a good day.

- Nope. I've got to be going.
