Kryxx Fizzleban is an asura who invented the spectral absterger, a Ghost Collector used to collect Ascalonian ghost essences in order to trap them in the containment unit invented by his colleague, Jenk Cutspecter.
Location[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
- You look like a worthy lab worker. Although if I had to guess, I'd say your magical abilities could still use some honing to meet my standards. My colleague, if you can call him that, Jenk is a charr. I suppose if I can work with him, I can work with you.
- Why are you working with him?
- Because it's crowded out here with all these ghosts, and my data points to something big on the horizon. Besides, Jenk appears to have invented something no one else, to date, has done. His iron containment unit looks very promising.
- What does the containment unit do?
- It hinders ghosts from resetting every morning. It withdraws them from the sample, so to speak. Whereas most ghosts keep coming back after you kill them, these remain trapped in the containment unit where they can't hurt anyone.
- How useful. Thanks for the explanation.
- Keep your eyes on that horizon. See you.
- I'm not your problem. Good-bye.
- During the Capture ghosts for Jenk Cutspecter using his ghost collector event
- You realize that none of this would work if it weren't for my invention. Jenk calls it a ghost collector, but I wouldn't expect more than that from him. Personally, I call it a spectral absterger.
- How does it work?
- When you capture a ghost's essence with the spectral absterger the essence travels through spectral space to the repository and is caught there until we transfer it to the main containment unit, where the ghost will be trapped for all eternity.
- For all eternity?
- This assumes, of course, that nothing happens to damage the iron containment unit. As primitive as it is, it must surely have its weaknesses. Frankly, I find it fascinating that it took something so simple as a special iron alloy to keep ghosts locked in place.
- Won't the ghosts just come back the next day?
- Preliminary tests indicate that ghosts cannot travel through Jenk's special iron alloy. I should have figured it out myself, knowing iron's magical properties as well as I do, but it took a simpler mind to boil it down to its bare essentials and make it work.
- I'm curious to see it in action.
- Thanks for the advice.
- Wow, that sounds crazy. I'm leaving.
- Okay, I'm going to go now.
Trivia[edit]
- Likely a reference to Wilfred Fizzlebang, a gnome warlock from World of Warcraft.
