Dialogue[edit]
- Make trouble, and you'll get this Wolfborn boot on your throat.
- So, what's it like being in the Wolfborn?
- I almost didn't get in. When Skarti started the Wolfborn, I laid a wreath at his door to apologize for a past deed.
- What did you have to apologize for?
- I called his father an unflattering name.
- What did Skarti do with the wreath you laid at his door?
- He took the wreath inside. The next day, he invited me to join the Wolfborn. We've been friends since.
- Good to hear. Take care.
- (If not norn)
- Explain this odd wreath ritual to me, in detail.
- You lay the wreath. They can take the wreath inside, lay an empty stein in it, break it, or leave it where it is.
- What does it mean to take the wreath inside?
- It's the best of all outcomes. All is forgiven, and the matter is dropped forever.
- What were the other choices again?
- Huh. That's rather noble.
- What does it mean to lay a stein in the wreath?
- It means the offended and the offender drink their way to forgiveness. I can live with that one.
- You said there were other choices?
- That's the preferred method, I'm sure.
- What does it mean to break the wreath?
- They must fight until only one is left standing. Afterward, all is forgiven, no matter who wins.
- What were the other options again?
- That's probably a popular choice as well.
- What does it mean to leave the wreath where it is?
- There can never be forgiveness. But, that rarely happens.
- Can you review the other choices again?
- I have no more questions for you.
- I've heard enough.
- I see.
- It must have worked. Good-bye.
- You'll have no trouble from me.
Notes[edit]
- Isvar originally spoke of laying a wreath at Skarti's door but the player character then asked what Sigfast had done with it. The dialogue has since been fixed so only Skarti's name is mentioned.
