Detected Treasure Smoke Effect.jpg

The smoke effect from Sniff.

Detected Treasures are mounds of dirt with treasure beneath them found all over Janthir. Their contents can be collected by walking up to them and then using the warclaw's Uncover skill. They can be located using the warclaw's Sniff skill, which causes a smoke effect to come off them. The locations of Detected Treasures are randomly selected on each instance of the map.

Notes[edit]

  • Location research can be found here.
  • The contents of each location are the same for every player in that instance.
    • A cache cannot be dug up if it is in the same location of a cache that was already dug up in a different instance (even if the cache type is different).
  • The locations for Mythical Kodan Caches are specific to the map instance.
  • A maximum of 40 kodan caches can be acquired on a map per day. This limit is shared across all map instances. Sniffing near Detected Treasures after reaching this limit will display the message "Your warclaw is tired of digging on this map for today."
  • Before opening the catch, it is recommended to stacking the Lowland Expertise.png Lowland Expertise to 6 stacks first, which can be obtained by purchasing Lowland Kodan Expertise.
  • All caches that need to be uncovered first aren't visible with the Treasure Hunter Protocol. Major Kodan Caches remain visible as they're simply chests above ground.
