Corrupted Jade Samples are objects found in Xunlai Jade Quarry during Help Xunlai Jade prepare their jade shipment. After scanning an Unsorted Jade Sample at a .png){kind=small}
Jade Bot, it will be randomly identified as either a Viable Jade Sample or Corrupted Jade Sample.
Corrupted Jade Samples contain dangerous levels of Void energy, and must be safely disposed of in a Corrupted Jade Pile. Failure to dispose of them safely (that is, by dropping ~ them), will increase the event's Void energy reading, increasing the chance of failure. Several random Void foes will also spawn where they were dropped. Incorrectly depositing a Corrupted Jade Sample in a 
Sled will also increase the Void energy reading.

- Because they are only obtained by scanning a carried Unsorted Jade Sample, and disappear as soon as they are dropped, they are never found as an object in the world, and only exist for the duration that a player is carrying them.
