Dialogue[edit]

During Battle for Lion's Arch
Oh, a visitor. Are you all right? It sounds nasty out here.

What are you doing here?
When the attack started, I realized there were citizens here who didn't know what was happening. I had to warn them. Before I knew it, I couldn't flee the city.
Talk more option tango.png
Got it, but who are you?
Captain Peter...well, I'm best known as Peter the Lost, member in good standing of the Captain's Council.
Talk more option tango.png
Let me guess. The city was hit and you ran for the exit, but you got lost.
No, no..just no. Everyone ribs me that I have no sense of direction, but my "title" comes from having lost a magic ship that now sails adrift forever.
Talk more option tango.png
Okay, so what are you doing here? (Same as "What are you doing here?" above)
Talk end option tango.png
Yeah, sure.
Talk more option tango.png
A lot of citizens made it to relief camps. You likely saved some of them.
Oh sweet Dwayna, that's terrific news. Being secluded here, I had no news of the city after the initial attack. At least some of the citizens are safe.
Talk more option tango.png
I didn't get your name. (Same as "Got it, but who are you?" above)
Talk end option tango.png
That they are.
Talk end option tango.png
Take care.
Talk more option tango.png
Who are you? (Same as "Got it, but who are you?" above)
Talk end option tango.png
It is. Get to cover and you'll be safe.
Before Escape from Lion's Arch
Welcome to Lion's Arch. I'm Captain Peter the Lost. Care to hear how I got that name? It's a colorful story of swashbuckling and derring-do, straight from a member of the Captain's Council.
Ferocity
You got lost? Not a great captain then. (Same as "You must think I'm a simpleton.")
Charisma
Love to. Your voice is so soothing. (Same as "I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn."")
Dignity
Please. It may inspire me to succeed as you have. (Same as "I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn."")
You must think I'm a simpleton. My story has a lot more fun than that. How about a bit of Lion's Arch history?
Talk more option tango.png
Sure, you talked me into it.
I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn." Be it tidal waves, storms, or cannon fire, nothing could breach that hull. She sailed under her own power, barely needed a crew.
Talk more option tango.png
What happened to this marvelous ship?
I lost her. The sea witch, Covington, commandeered her. Put me and my crew off and laughed about it. Who's laughing now, though, right?
Talk more option tango.png
What do you mean?
Covington took the ship, but she's never figured out how to tell it to weigh anchor. So now it sails and sails and never stops.
Talk more option tango.png
Hilarious. Where is it now?
Covington had to abandon her. Now the "Capricorn" sails on forever, a ghost of a ship with no crew and no captain. Any who catch up to her and try to board...tend to disappear.
Talk more option tango.png
So you had the last laugh.
I did. I may've lost my ship to pirates, but I also made sure they couldn't keep it. And I showed everyone it takes a true captain to helm Peter the Lost's vessel!
Talk end option tango.png
Thanks for the story, captain.
Talk end option tango.png
A fine story. Thanks, captain.
Talk end option tango.png
I've heard enough. Thanks.
Talk end option tango.png
I've heard enough. Thanks.
Talk end option tango.png
I've heard enough. Thanks.
Talk end option tango.png
No deal, Captain "the Lost.
Talk end option tango.png
Not right now.
During Dragon Bash
Oh, I didn't see you there. It's been hectic around here, getting Dragon Bash ready. Hopefully you'll enjoy the Dragon Bash coffers that'll be handed out.
Talk more option tango.png
What are the coffers?
You'll get them after doing Dragon Bash-related activities. There's some neat stuff inside, like candies, recipes, tonics, and more. I think they'll be a big hit with the crowd.
Talk more option tango.png
I didn't catch your name.
I'm Peter the Lost, Ship's Captain of Lion's Arch. Go ahead, ask about the name. Everyone does.
Talk more option tango.png
I'll bite. Tell me about your name.
Way back when, I had a ship—the "Capricorn"—stolen from me by another pirate, name of Covington. The joke's on her. The ship was magic, you see. And Covington never learned how to sail her.
Talk more option tango.png
What happened to the ship?
She had to abandon it. Now no one sails the "Capricorn." She's adrift at sea, possibly forever.
Talk end option tango.png
Shame. Sounds like a good ship.
Talk end option tango.png
Too bad.
Talk end option tango.png
Never mind.
Talk end option tango.png
Looking forward to them.
