[edit] Notes

  • Stacks are lost when the player enters a new area or uses a waypoint within the same map.
  • As of the April 2014 Feature Patch, mechanics for this sigil (and other on-kill stacking bonus sigils) have been modified.
    • Stacking the same sigil, regardless of its level or rarity, does not work. This only grants 1 stack for each creature killed or 5 stacks for each player killed.
    • Stacks are lost every time the weapon with the sigil is changed or unequipped. Stacks are not retained even if the new weapon equipped has the same sigil.
    • Stacks are lost upon swapping weapons, unless the weapons swapped into have the same on-kill stacking bonus sigil. This does not happen when swapping kits or attunements.
    • Stacks are also lost every time the player moves in water or goes underwater, unless the player has aquatic weapons with the same on-kill stacking bonus sigil.
    • However, stacks earned underwater are not lost when moving out of water even though the player has no terrestrial weapons with the same on-kill stacking bonus sigil.
