Walkthrough[edit]

She randomly spawns near any of these locations: Pride Point Waypoint, Kiel's Outpost Waypoint, Steampipe Steading, or Camp Karka Waypoint.

The Karka Queen has extremely high damage reduction due to the Armored effect. The stacks must be removed by throwing the Karka Eggs that periodically spawn in the area at her so that she can be killed before the event time limit runs out. She will occasionally regain 15 stacks of the buff.

Trivia[edit]

  • Completing the event unlocked the Crazed Karka Queen Killer achievement.
  • The open-world chest reward was originally limited to once per day per character. The June 11th, 2013 update removed this limit, allowing players to obtain the bonus award as often as the queen was killed, to encourage completion of the event. In February 2014, purportedly in response to abuse of this mechanic, this was changed again to its current limit of once per day per account. [citation needed]
