The Watery Grave is a pool of toxic water beneath the unstable soil on the beach at Fabled Djannor. During battles against Tequatl the Sunless, the dragon champion may create whirlpools to pull players into the deadly waters.
The water applies damage as indicated by the 
Watery Grave effect until players escape by swimming back up to the surface through the light-filled gaps. There is also a treasure chest at the bottom of the depths; players should be cautious of the damage accumulated from swimming all the way down and back up.
Alternatively, after Tequatl has been successfully defeated, a Krewe Researcher located in the water to the west of the Dragon Chest will discover a portal stating "Well, would you look at that?" - interacting with this portal allows players to enter the depths afterwards to acquire achievements.

Notes[edit]
- The portal that spawns after Tequatl is successfully defeated remains in place and can be interacted with even after the member despawns.
- Several achievements and collections require players to be suffering from the damaging effect or to open the treasure chest contained at the bottom of the water.
