Corsair Bounties
- Hello, I reverted your edit with Zaiem's name on the corsair bounties page, cause I double-checked and his name didn't appear there at the start of Daybreak episode, or before even activating it. However, it got me thinking, maybe his name appears later, when you progress with the episode a bit? On what part of Daybreak you were when the name appeared? I think we should note this. Thanks :) Sime (talk) 14:22, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks. At first I too thought it was just the Commander's name until I saw Spearmashal Zaiem's name on there. Unfortunately, I don't remember which story step, and I can't currently reproduce it. But even with the story complete, sometimes the crossed out names aren't the option. Maybe Zaiem's name was the illusion all along. --— Cronos 06:51, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
Golden Template
The coloured text template you made doesn't match any in game colour, which is why those templates are made. As you seem to be the only one using it, you can either pick a new name for it to signify it's a user template and I'll move it and fix the links and put it in the user tempaltes, or I'll just delete it and you can use span tags instead. Either or, the choice is yours. - Doodleplex 02:47, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- Alright, Template:User gold or [[Template:User Cronos gold]] are fine, whichever works best with the convention. Is there any chance you know how to figure out the blue colour used in overhead / in-world speech bubbles when Taimi or someone else is talking to the player through the communicator, or the green colour used when Joko is speaking? Right now, I've just been using a screen colour picker, but the game's font rendering / antialiasing and such make it hard to get the right colour. --— Cronos 02:54, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- I've moved it the shorter of the two so it's easier for you to type. As for that in-game blue, I'll look into it, thanks for the heads up! - Doodleplex 02:59, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
About Pre-Release Pages, Jokes and Speculation
Hey, thank you for creating a few pages for the upcoming All or Nothing release. I've one request for the future though — while funny, edits like this or this should be avoided. There will always be people who take them serious, as can be seen here. Aside from this, we need to be very careful with speculations (i.e. that the dragonsblood weapons are ascended). Thank you for your understanding and happy wiki-ing! talk 10:31, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
- Just a heads up, if you want to keep your talk page nice and clean, you can move the contents to the Archive page I created for you above; what you can't do is wipe your talk page. In terms of the conversation, I'm going to echo Incarnazeus, please don't do that again. - Doodleplex 05:40, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry! On Wikipedia I'm used to not having to create/manage archives; it's hard to remember up wih the policies of individual wikis! --— Cronos 21:50, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
About icons of new items
Darqam has a bot that uploads icons extracted from the game, and are listed here, and usually has the most of new icons covered. If you find a matching icon, just rename it by moving it :) - J.P. 22:19, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
Employee Page Edits
Hi Cronos, I noticed you making lots of edits to employee pages lately. Can I ask where you are getting the information from? I think it might be helpful to say where you got the info, even if you don't link to it. Eg: personal Twitter, gw2 Twitter, gw2 forums thread, etc. Let me know if you still have some of the sources. - Slightly related, but there's some really awkward phrasing being used here e.g. "At ArenaNet he worked as a Studio Technical Director, but peaced to become the Vice-President of Technology at NCsoft." - just use "moved on". -Chieftain Alex 19:00, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and reworded a bunch of pages. I appreciate that you've gone to a lot of effort to figure out which ones are former employees, and I would encourage you to leave hilarious edit summaries rather than submit them as content. -Chieftain Alex 19:59, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- It's mostly LinkedIn, but also a bit of personal Twitter accounts and Reddit. I went through basically every employee article except the ones in Category:Artists. --— Cronos 22:30, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

New enhanced gear
Heya. I think the note may need revising on those pages. I've had one of the Enhanced Mighty Chestpiece drop on my level 80 mesmer whilst I was doing tutorial achievements - I think it also allows the items to drop if you're downscaled. Plus you can get more than one of them (suspect they keep dropping until you satisfy the requirement to equip it). -Chieftain Alex 10:32, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, it requires the player to be effective level 1-10 (downscaling works), and it can drop multiple times as confirmed by one dev on Reddit and multiple other people. We should probably add it as a note to the pages, however. ~SimeTalk 13:14, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
- Ah, I found the Reddit comments. You're right. I got the initial drop of each item quickly but I wasn't able to get any more drops after playing in level 10 zones for a few more hours, so the reduced drop rate must be significantly lower as Linsey suggested. Luckily, I realized I didn't actually delete the items I had gotten from the chests yet. Thanks for the reverts. --— Cronos 00:58, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- I added a better note. --— Cronos 01:05, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
