Move to User Space[edit]
Anticipating this objection, I attempted to write the article as objectively as possible. If you do not feel that there is any way to modify it sufficiently to remain in mainspace then go ahead and move it. ~ 1Maven (talk) 19:44, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- The only portion the wiki would say about the currency exchange is a table or graph of the exchange rate. We can't say anymore than that. The reader should be drawing their own conclusions from the data. The wiki isn't suited for presenting trends or analysis either, as we aren't experts in virtual game economies or tracking the market. We leave such work to the fansites. You could push economy tracking as a project, but you would end up linking to external resources anyways.--Relyk ~ talk < 20:04, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- As Relyk suggested, I have added the relevant grphs and removed one conclusion. IMHO this article is now more objective and provides more comprehensive data then various "Drop Rate Analysis" currently present on the wiki. Further, it both directs the reader to tools to draw their own conclusions and clearly provides warnings of the inherent risks. ~ 1Maven (talk) 09:07, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- I was implying this page should be moved to the project namespace similar to the drop rate. The drop rate research is simply tabular data, there is no authorship or analysis on the pages. This page is trying opine the behavior of the market and the wiki is a terrible place to do so, as I said previously.--Relyk ~ talk < 09:30, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

- 1Maven, you moved this to a subpage - that's not a different namespace, it's still in the main namespace. I'm not exactly sure what Relyk was intending, though, as I don't see this being appropriate for the GW2W namespace, either. —Dr Ishmael 12:21, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- My intent is to follow "commonly accepted practices", following what I interpreted Relyk to be saying. I used the example of Drop rate data pages. Please clarify how this can be corrected. ~ 1Maven (talk) 12:30, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- I guess I'm writing in a mysterious forgotten language :/ Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/Currency exchange and stick all the information there. None of this content should be in the mainspace.--Relyk ~ talk < 17:52, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

- I believe that we speak the same language. However, when dealing with novices like myself I suggest using small words, being very explicit, not not assuming that we understand anything. I will make another attempt at doing what you and Ish want. Who knows? I might even get it correct this time - lol. ~ 1Maven (talk) 21:01, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
