Is this how the effects look in-game or does it just say daze, fear, launch, and such? We can abbreviate most as brawler daze, brawler fear, etc. for ease of use and I like the semantic.--Relyk ~ talk > 21:02, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

This is how they all look ingame. Some have "Costume Brawl" in front of the effect and some don't. Pretty weird but I guess they just didn't give it that much attention when creating them :P Forgot to add that the extra text and duration (for example with Dash) is also how it looks ingame, while numbers may vary ofcourse. Ingame the extra text (like "Move faster.") isn't between brackets, but I believe we added them to the extra texts of all effects on the wiki. When I started with them I did create a page for e.g. Costume Brawl Daze, but someone responded somewhere that it was easier to just use alt texts in the infobox. The icons might vary a bit ingame, e.g. the Daze icon ingame is gray I believe, while the Costume Brawl Daze icon is purple (the icon on the page is actually from a screenshot, didn't know about Dr ishmael's icon folders back then). — 08RayGame bug.png 16:33, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
They are all effects, so would need effect pages anyways. It's not really handled correctly cause you're redirecting them to Daze when you actually want Costume Brawl Daze, it's synonomous but it's still differentiated by being a costume brawl effect. The problem with the effects template implementation is that it requires you to make subtemplates for any major effects like {{Brawler damage}}, so I think we'll be using the misc effect template. Can you point out the sources that gives these the CB effects?--Relyk ~ talk > 09:13, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
When I previewed a page with a template for Costume Brawl Daze together with a skill infobox that uses it on it, it wouldn't work. Might be because it was in preview or that just creating the template isn't enough to make it work in the infoboxes? That's the reason why I did create effect pages for some of them already, but because I couldn't get them to work in the skill infoboxes I just did what Dr ishmael told me on Talk:Costume Brawl, but I would also prefer it if they were added as seperate effects because some do differ from the normal effect or are completely new and it makes it easier for other people to create the CB skill pages.
Well all skills in Category:Costume Brawl skills use at least some of these effects. Many will only have Brawler Damage or Brawler Protection and maybe Range so they are already as they should be. But if you can make the subtemplates for the effects and get them to work in the infoboxes I wouldn't mind going through the category and changing the skill infoboxes myself (didn't keep a list of them and some were added by others). Can you also add Costume Brawler then? The way it looks on the effect page is how it looks ingame. Didn't list it here because for some reason on a normal page it would place the text in a box, unlike the other effects. Transformation is also an effect that comes with tonics btw, but you get that effect everytime you use a tonic so I guess we don't need a subtemplate for that? Since it's unrelated to skills so not needed in infoboxes. — 08RayGame bug.png 11:20, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
I've created an icon in the style of the main daze one at Costume Brawl Daze 40px.png for this. I suspect we'll end up adding the costume brawl effects to {{Skill fact}} so the icon will appear there in the future.. Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:33, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Not sure if the icons for Costume Brawl Fear and Costume Brawl Cripple are the same as the normal effect versions btw. The crappy icon I uploaded for Costume Brawl Fear seems to be pretty much the same as the normal one (only from a crappy screenshot instead of the .dat file), but I can't check them anymore since I decided to gamble for Endless Toymaker's by combining my Endless Wintersday Tonics and all I have left is Endless Toy Golem now which can't apply these effects... Probably someone here that has it, otherwise I can always buy the normal tonics from the TP to check it. — 08RayGame bug.png 12:54, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
