Goal[edit]

Completely finish the Triple Trouble wurm event with 30 or less players. Finish phase 2 within 40 seconds.

Assumptions[edit]

  • Wurm hp will dynamically scale up/down fast enough to account for players who enter/leave the event area during the encounter.
  • Phase 1 of each wurm head can be finished within 3 burn phases.
  • The wurm heads scale appropriately for phase 2.
  • There will be slightly less than 15 minutes to complete phase 1.

Raid Plan[edit]

Wurm Defense Teams[edit]

For each wurm head, 1-4 players dedicated to keeping the area clear. These players stay at their wurm for the entire duration of the event, and have the primary responsibility of neutralizing eggs, husks, and veteran wurms. They should also contribute to the wurm mechanic during downtime.

These players will also serve as anchors. They will party up with players in the Mobile Mechanics Crew so they can always re-login to the same map.

Mobile Mechanics Crew[edit]

20 players who are responsible for triggering the burn phases for multiple wurm heads, using one character per wurm.

Minimum requirements
  • Must be proficient at triggering burn phases for at least 2 wurm heads. One will be parked at Amber, another will be at Crimson or Cobalt. (Optional: have 3 characters, one at each wurm.)
  • On the flip side, must be willing to log out and wait for other damage-optimized players to do the burn phase if not needed at any wurm.
  • Optional: have at least 1 character optimized for damage ready to contribute to burn phases.
  • Optional: preferable to be able to load into a map quickly.

These players will use one character at each wurm to trigger burn phases. They will be switching between characters as needed to assist the wurm that needs the most attention. Expect to prioritize Amber, then Cobalt, then Crimson. A subset of these players will stay and contribute to burn phases at specific wurms. When not needed for burn phases or triggering the burn phase at any wurm, the player should stay logged out.

Sync[edit]

  1. Crimson fills 2 extractors, then gets the 3rd extractor ~3 clouds away from being filled (adjust depending on number of pugs around).
  2. Cobalt preps 19/20 kegs (adjust depending on number of pugs around).
  3. Amber confirms removing the last stack of slick skin.
  4. Crimson and Cobalt enter their burn phases with the defense team.
  5. Players switch to pre-assigned wurm for phase 2.

Phase 2[edit]

The players with optimized damage characters stay for phase 2. Everyone else either logs out or waypoints away from the fight. No wurm should have more than 10 players during phase 2.
