Magi/Minstrel/Harrier

(In WvW, must be Minstrel.)

Wash the Pain Away, Feel the Burn, Flash-Freeze, Free slot, Rebound.

The free slot can be...

  • Arcane Wave - blast your own ice field for an extra Frost Aura
  • Aftershock! - same as above with Magnetic Aura, but on a higher cooldown
  • A Cantrip - up to you

Matthias/Cairn "Carry"/WvW[edit]

The point of this build is either to:

  • Res from afar at Cairn while kiting shards or
  • Trivialize the first two phases of Matthias (cleansing , while reviving people through wells.
  • Carry friends through WvW

If you choose to take Runes of the trooper instead of runes of the monk

  • Shame on you
  • Take Water 333 instead of 331

Water: 331

Stop, Drop, and Roll - remove a free condi or 2 since you'll be dodging anyway

Aquamancer's Training - you'll be camping water

Cleansing Water - you'll be spamming regen.

Arcane: 211

Renewing Stamina - Vigor on you is more useful than vulnerability.

Arcane Resurrection / Final Shielding - Could go either way. Free stun break+blocks or free fast-res. I prefer Arcane Resurrection.

Evasive Arcana - Non-optional. Dodging in water will heal and cleanse conditions.

Tempest: [1/2]23

Gale Song / Latent Stamina - Could go either way. Free stun break or more dodges for your sub-squad. I prefer Gale Song.

Invigorating Torrents - Non-optional. You must take it so your auras do condi-cleanse.

Elemental Bastion - Non-optional. You must take it so your auras do healing.
