His Story
"Want to see my new invention?" — Kieran to anyone during his break time Since he was born, Kieran Silverwind had always lived just above the poverty line. He never knew his mother’s face, as she had left his father for another man when Kieran was still just a small child. As such, Kieran grew up with only his father to take care of him. Kieran picked up an interest in engineering from his father, who was a modest engineer, and he often tinkered with his father’s old tools. However, one day, when his father left the house to supposedly buy some groceries, he never returned. Kieran was just an adolescent then. He could only guess that either his father had cracked under the pressure and gave up on him or he had been killed by street thugs or bandits. Since then, Kieran learned to take care of himself. As an adult, he often visited the local tavern to show off his newly invented gadgets, even when nobody cared to listen. Kieran’s enthusiasm for engineering and science led him to become an exceptional engineer, excelling both in developing efficient gadgets and in creating potent potions. Although he appears to be fairly extroverted, he is only so whenever he is boasting about his new inventions. Otherwise, he is often described as nervous, easily flustered, and lacking charm. He is never seen without his bulging universal multitool pack. Kieran has a talent for quickly coming up with innovative designs in extreme detail in his head as well as analyzing in just one glance the inner workings of others’ inventions. His greatest fear is losing his tool pack, rendering him unable to invent any more gadgets. He is bad at resisting the urge to talk about his inventions.
