Biography[edit]
Mad Queen Malafide is a powerful necromancer who is believed to reside in the Mad Realm. She is completely self-obsessed, though this may be an act; a shield for how she truly feels about herself. She has lived in Tyria for over 250 years and hasn't aged a day, which lends credibility to her claims that "her immortality made her the wonderful person that she is today". Occasionally a villain, occasionally an ally, she has found herself on many sides to various tribulations in Tyria. She has no love for the Elder Dragons, but whether having her on your side is a boon or a curse is a subject of discussion. She is believed to be one of the few wives of Mad King Thorn to survive his murderous tendencies; a marriage based mostly on a mutual desire for knowledge and power. She has been known to fly on a Bonedragon on occasion and has a strong irrational hatred for mesmers. It is believed that the Queen also wears a wig underneath her horned headdress, though the subject of her hair is often a sensitive subject for her. She is known to be a dedicated follower of Grenth. The Queen often jokes about her giant ego, while also displaying it ostentatiously. She tends to show restraint in outright displays of her powers, but on rare occasions she has been observed to perform incredible feats by herself, if the situation calls for it.
Magic and Equipment[edit]
The Mad Queen tends to favor Blood Magic and the Reaper specialisation. She can often be seen wielding a flaming great sword Cobalt and the staff The Crossing. The Mad Queen claims to have invented a type of spectral fire which she calls Ghost Fire. She has been seen traveling between worlds and is somehow able to animate a Bonedragon. She sometimes surrounds herself with a Candy Corn Elemental army or Grenches.

The Queen has been a host of The King and Queen's Horrorween together with Daniel Frozenwind for many years, along with various other community events.
