- The 3 required components of the Tricolor Key (Mysterious Blue Key, Mysterious Green Key and Mysterious Pink Key) are no longer available as drops "primarily ... in the western area of Kessex Hills" or elsewhere following the June 23, 2015 game update. The key pieces however, may still be obtained through the Mysterious Key Pouch item that gives the player a choice of the three different components which may be acquired through the Mordrem Researcher that resides in the Durmand Priory. Following the death of Mordremoth, Mordrem Blooms are no longer obtainable, leaving players with no way to obtain the components for the Tricolor Key.
- You must have at least one of each, although you can have multiple copies of any or all.
- You do not have to separate stacks of the single-colored keys before combining, since the game will only make one tricolor key at a time.
