Clarify wording[edit]

reddit comment. Is there a better phrasing we can use to describe "one mastery point per chapter for the first time through the personal story, plus three other mastery points"? (i.e. max of 3+8=11 out of 25) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 06:28, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

"A maximum of one Mastery Point is given per chapter, per account (for an account maximum of eight). Three separate Mastery Points give a maximum of eleven from the Hero achievements." A tad longer, and probably can be shortened still. G R E E N E R 08:39, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
"A total of 11 mastery points can be obtained in the Hero category: Eight from personal story chapters (awarded on a per-chapter basis), and three from non-story achievements." "The Mastery Points for Personal Story are awarded on a per-chapter basis."verbatim from Joshua Diaz's post. While we're at it, we could probably merge the relevant chapter achievements in various table articles:
Category Achievement Description
Hero Defending History, Informing the Future OR
Some Must Fight, That All May be Free OR
To Know the Unknown
Complete the story step "Mightier than the Sword". OR
Complete the story step "Minister's Defense", or "Quaestor's Siege". OR
Complete the story step "An Apple a Day".
As I suggested in that reddit post, I'd love to see them move the mastery point to an achievement that is completed as long as one of the corresponding story step is completed (they already have this OR system in place with achievements like "Some Must Fight, That All May be Free"). --BryghtShadow (talk) 10:28, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Total doesn't match number of rows[edit]

Help - the total is reading 188, and only 175 rows are showing up.

{{#ask: [[Gives mastery track region point::Heart of Maguuma]] | format = count }}
{{#ask: [[Gives mastery track region point::Heart of Maguuma]] | default = 0 | limit = 500 | format = ol | mainlabel = - | headers = hide | ?Has achievement category | ?Has canonical name }}

I don't see how this can happen. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:49, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

That seems to be the arbitrary cut off point for the limit. Might hve something to do with further results links being completely broken. I don't think the wiki is obeying the default query limit? It affects any query tools as well [1].--Relyk ~ talk < 22:55, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
User:Relyk/Sandbox/Masteryachievementtable, there's 10 values being duplicated and 3 values missing completely. The three missing are can be seen at 173-175 where the duplicate entries occur.--Relyk ~ talk < 23:58, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
It's doing something shitty where it claims (DUPLICATE VALUE) on the second query on the page, always on the first five results, irregardless of which page it is. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 07:44, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
I've temporarily removed all annotation from achievement table row. (as soon as i did that, before the good SMW properties unset themselves, the red lines diappeared) (i.e. X:X) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 07:52, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
/shrug. Blanking the template and restoring it seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks for the help Relyk. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:49, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
It's probably orphaned subobjects or the wiki not cleaning the objects up. Glad our "nuke the wiki" strategy still works.--Relyk ~ talk < 19:26, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
"Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure." -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:47, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
