Parameters[edit]

All parameters are optional unless specified.

name
Defaults to the name of the base article ({{BASEPAGENAME}}).
icon
Filename of the inventory icon. Defaults to {{BASEPAGENAME}}.
type
Required. The skin type, i.e.:
Axe, Dagger, Mace, Pistol, Scepter, Sword, Focus, Warhorn, Torch, Shield, Greatsword, Hammer, Longbow, Rifle, Short bow, Staff, Spear, Harpoon gun, Trident
Aquatic headgear, Headgear, Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, Leggings, Boots
Back item
Foraging, Logging, Mining
class
Armor skin classification, capitalized : Heavy, Medium, Light.
race
Cultural armor only Required race to use the skin.
set
Page name of the set that the skin belongs to.
rarity
Rarity of the skin.
id
The decoded internal game id of the skin. This will then be rendered as a chat link. Do not mistakenly add the chat link as the parameter.
description
In-game description.
collection
Optional. If the skin is part of any collections.
hint
Used only for collection items that display hint text.
categorize
Optional. "y" or "n" to turn on/off categorization. Default is on for main namespace articles and off for others. If using "status", don't set this parameter.
status
Optional. Status of content. Only set if not currently obtainable ingame, displays relevant notice. Available options: "historical", "discontinued", "future", "unimplemented", "current" (default).
status notes
Optional. Allows provision of additional reason for the given status.
status date
Optional. Sets the date of the update that marked this skill as historical (in YYYY-MM-DD format).
requires
Optional. The expansion or living world season required to access the content. Displays a notice of the release. See {{infobox requires}} for options.
gallery1, gallery2, gallery3, gallery4, gallery 5
Optional. Armor pages do not show galleries by default, but specifying a filename of the form "gallery1 = <item name>.jpg" will show the gallery. For weapons and back items, the gallery will default to "<page name>.jpg", with any bracketed text removed from the end.
gallery1-text, gallery2-text, gallery3-text, gallery4-text, gallery 5-text
Sets the associated text with the corresponding images above.

Variables[edit]

Exports the following variables.

  • {{#var:skin supertype}} - The skin's primary type (armor, back item, weapon, gathering).
  • {{#var:skin type}} - The skin's subtype (axe, headgear, etc.); appears as "back item" for back skins.
  • {{#var:skin class}} - The skin's armor class (light, medium, heavy); null for non-armor skins.
