New race?

They are referred to as primarily humans from Elona and Cantha by LOR-748 Field Reporter, are they distinguishable enough to be called a new race? (see Sunflower infobox) I think it's more just a faction or organization. Vahkris (talk) 17:21, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

They are an organization (other races can join the Zephyrites), just didn't change it in my writeups or if we knew they were a different race.--Relyk ~ talk < 18:05, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

Actually, why would they primarily be of Canthan and Elonian descent ? Glint lived in Tyria, the dwarves even more to the north, so what connexion do they have to Cantha and Elona ? Is there an explanation anywhere ? 82.216.12.191 15:58, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Glint?

Worth mentioning their connection to the Followers of the the Dragon in the Dwarven Brotherhood? Using Glint's magic as a power source especially for the aspects, as per the Short Story "The Trek of the Zephyrites" where they mention "There, we will foster peace and seed the crystals we make with touches of her magic, so that others too can experience her legacy." and "Holding a portion of her in my hand, I was able to walk on the wind, ride the lightning, and channel the sun to my will." Definitely worth adding. I added the Zephyrite song to the general Zephyrite NPC page (since they sing it) and noted that it's about Glint. It's not really a mystery anymore, due to the short story. It can be added to either the Aspect page, the Zephyrites page, or both, IMO. Vahkris (talk) 22:31, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

I'll get to rewording it and apply it to both, this page can probably have more about the connection to the Dwarfs, and the Aspect page can have that it's power that comes from Glint. Not only humans.

The article says they are only humans yet on the ship itself you can see Zephyrite Norns and even sylvari. perhaps this needs changing? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.6.146.216 (talk • contribs).

It says primarily humans, as in majority. There shouldn't be any Sylvari outside of visitors from the Bazaar, though- that would be a direct contradiction in lore. 01:13, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

There is at least one sylvari labeled as Zephyrite. In fact he's part of the song they sing. I'm considering him a very recent new recruit, but yeah, there's a sylvari Zephyrite. Vahkris (talk) 02:34, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Zephyrites and Ascension

Recently edited the Inquisitive Djinn page and added an extra dialogue tree with a djinn that was missed out. There's a throwaway line mentioning the Zephyrites and how they and their sail structures may be descended from the Elona Reach ascension seekers. Don't know if it's worth mentioning in the Zephyrites article as it may be a case of rumor/unreliable narrator but thought it was worth bringing up. 173.63.56.159 08:57, 29 February 2020 (UTC)Eclipse

It's certainly an unreliable narrator since those people were all dead by GW1's time and Zephyrites came to be after GW1. But it is an interesting note to add that some believe such. Konig (talk) 21:28, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
