Corpse?[edit]

I would assume that wells require corpses in this game as well? 108.92.176.211 19:10, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

I think this has changed and you no longer need corpses to create wells. The skill descriptions says "create it at your location" and not create it at corpse's location. 88.152.231.122 19:15, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Afaik corpses are no longer needed to cast any skill type that required them in GW1. Mediggo 19:28, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Spiteful Vigor[edit]

Will this trigger spiteful vigor for every second of healing? --203.45.142.51 23:44, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

I'll try it out later. For the time being, we can assume it will work that way. At least that's the way it worked with Healing Breeze and Healer's Retribution. Gnarf 07:24, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

correction[edit]

The following note appears to be untrue: "Well of Blood hits enemies inside each time it pulses. This deals no damage but triggers effects such as Vampiric. Like all wells, these hits are unblockable."

Well of blood does not trigger Vampiric (passive Blood Magic trait). However, Well of Blood does trigger Vampiric Rituals (Blood magic Grandmaster trait). The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cinnamonfox (talk) at 09:47, 12 February 2017‎ (UTC).

Skill tool-tip info incorrect?[edit]

I did some testing with this skill, and my results were that the initial self-heal was ~12% lower than what the tool-tip indicated and the heal-per-second was ~3% higher, I may very well have missed something though so someone else should probably confurm it first 84.216.203.235

Skill tooltip again[edit]

with no build, no boosts, no armor, tested the numbers in pve. got 5240 for the self heal and 280 per pulse. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nickajshelden (talk) at 07:04, 30 December 2020 (UTC).

Added, pretty much everything is wrong with this skill at the moment.
The tooltip states 5240 Initial Self Heal in PvE (previously this page documented 6026 Initial Self Heal in PvE) and 4454 Initial Self Heal in WvW/PvP (previously 5122), although the last relevant game update notes stated "(Competitive split) Reduced initial base heal from 6026 to 5122. Reduced pulse heal coefficient from 0.4 to 0.2.".
Furthermore, the Health per Second is 472 (previously 490) with 0.04 (previously 0.4!!!) coefficient in PvE and 0.2 coefficient in WvW/PvP, although, as you already correctly stated, in all game modes it grants 280 Health per Second (the coefficients still apply: 0.04 for PvE, 0.2 for WvW/PvP).
