Healing Amount[edit]

Does anyone know how the healing for the various finishers are calculated?71.234.85.55 20:06, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Based on Healing Power as far as I can tell--Relyk 20:39, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes, but whose? The character who created the field? The one who used the finisher? Or the character that received the healing? —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:40, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Stats are based off who uses the finisher, so it works like other beneficial effects. Blast does area healing like Cleansing Wave, Leap heals yourself, projectiles give regeneration on yourself, and whirl shoots out healing bolts. Pretty sure the healing bolts don't heal yourself :/--Relyk 22:01, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
And I 'm pretty sure projectiles grant regeneration around the target not to you.71.234.85.55 15:32, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm prettty sure that projectiles grant regeneration to allies that they pass through, and possibly a small AoE explosion of regen at the end, not to yourself. Unless it were reflected and then hit you, but that would be weird. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 15:38, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
I always gain regen with Dancing Dagger through water field. Mediggo 15:52, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm seeing 2s regeneration within ~120 range of the target. Passing through doesn't seem to do anything. ~ Capric 00:51, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
Projectiles give regeneration to the person using the finisher. How do you guys confuse that when I said leap heals yourself in right before that? :< The person using the field combo will stillsee the projectile finisher message pop up, so it leads to some confusion.--Relyk 02:53, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
You might want to double check that. Using a projectile finisher, I was only able to get regeneration on myself when I was standing within ~120 range of the target. Leap and projectiles have not behaved the same for me.
Specifically, I was doing my projectile testing using an elementalist, using a Geyser/Arcane Blast combo. The leap testing I did used a Regenerating Mist/Jump Shot combo. What specific projectile combos are you seeing that give always give the person using the finisher regeneration? ~ Capric 13:53, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Stolen Healing Seed[edit]

Stealing from rangers in PvP and WvW yields Healing Seed, this much has been documented. Can we get some confirmation (screenshot/video/multiple confirmations by wiki users) on whether or not this stolen variant of Healing Seed actually generates a water field? - Infinite - talk 16:53, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

In the extent of the above: Talk:Steal/Creature#The Healing Seed here is wrong. It was already stated previously that they generate a field, so we only have to check if it is still current. - Infinite - talk 16:55, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Suggested Update Healing Seed[edit]

The healing seed skill that you can get as a thief can also be obtained in PvE from a Healing Seed Pod consumable item. I would add this into the wiki page, but I don't know how to / if I'm allowed to do that. 118.168.1.113 06:39, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
