Guild Chat - Warclaw Preview (Meow)[edit]

  • Chain Pull, once activated turns into 2+1 mystery(unlockable? skill) Each pull costs 1 supply. Up to 3 cats can hit a gate at once. Does 2k damage by default. Meant to be used in addition to rams, not as a replacement. to get more players involved.
  • You go faster in your own territory. (~griffon run speed)
  • It has 3 energy bars, being able to leap a short distance each activation. Evade frame.
  • Upgraded Pounce will kill downed enemies, once you have the mastery unlocked. Pounce is a dismount.
  • You can remount in enemy territory as well as friendly. You cannot mount in combat.
  • Available on WvW rank 1.
    • Combination of Mastery (1pt) + Achievement collection path (Warclaw Companion) + Reward track. Is 100% completable in WvW. "Shouldn't be super expensive." Much of the achieve can be done in Eotm. Taking a camp should be the only part not doable in eotm, as they're considered a different kind of objective in backend.
      • "Loot drop for killing guards/collection is around 10%"
  • Mounts do not save players from fall damage, as they do in PvE.
  • you can use the mount in PvE, but the skills
  • skill 2 Sniff>pings mini map, marks enemies, quick ping. Does not reveal stealthed players.
  • There are achievements for using the mount in certain ways
    • Fish out of Water - Dismounting through entering water
  • Mount not affected by CC, but has low HP. ( Note that mounts do not have the same armor values as the player)
  • A free WvW Ability reset will be available on patch day. (will not reset automatically)
  • Interacting with portals/anything causes dismount, as in PvE

Anet devs wanted to make a Mount for WvW and not just transfer over the Raptor because it would let them alter it and balance it without having to worry about other games modes.

I only started watching halfway through, so others might want to keep going through the video. The Warclaw Companion collection is in the video, not typed here because I can't type that fast lmao.--Rain Spell (talk) 20:20, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
