Talk:Triumphant Hero's armor

you can also choose the PoF stats now, like Grieving
Clarification needed regarding available stats (Giver's/Bringer's) of exotic pieces[edit]
I have some confusion over the possible stats that can be selected. It seems that the exotic version of the armor pieces are missing Giver's and Bringer's stats, while the ascended and legendary versions have these choices. Is this intended, or just an oversight by ANet? --124.13.95.26 05:27, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's really hard to say, what is the intention of anet regarding Giver's and Bringer's. There have been several discussions about the inconsistency of these stats on the wiki (See here or here). But non of the exotic armor purchaseable through WvW have Giver's or Bringer's, for example: Legacy Armor Box or Living Story 3/4 armor pieces. So at least there's consistency. Anyways this doesn't really answer your questions...
- Well, actually I intended to add the following line to all Triumphant Hero's armor pieces but simply forgot, see my Sandbox from January 17:
== Notes == * The prefixes Bringer's and Giver's aren't available for the exotic version of this armor piece.
- My bad, I recently updated the prefixes using my bot, and used the prefixes available to the ascended and legendary armor versions. -Chieftain Alex 12:55, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

- Well, I was too slow, thanks. I was trying some double Available prefixes tables or something like that, but nothing really looked nice. So I think the Notes section is the best way to split this. Therefore your prefix update was fine.
- Edit:
PS: I just noticed that there is an asterisk missing in front of "The following prefixes can be selected:" for Triumphant Hero and Mistforged Triumphant Hero. Normal Hero armor has some completely different text at Available Prefixes.Fixed it. --Tolkyria (talk) 13:54, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

Actually, I think the ascended versions of the armor pieces don't even have Giver's or Bringer's available. It seems only the Legendary versions have those 2 new stats. This is consistent with PvE armor boxes too.
For example: Defender's Chest of Leggings (Fractals box) hasn't been updated with Giver's stats.
Also (this problem applies to weapons too): Sabetha's Defender Boomstick (Raid box) doesn't have Giver's stats.
So the real question is: Do any ascended weapon or armor boxes actually have these 2 newest stats available? --124.13.95.26 22:55, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- incorrect; API says ascended has Bringer and Giver. -5.65.85.185 23:26, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- The Defender, Malicious, Raider's or Healer's chest gives very limited amount of stats, no HoT or PoF stats, and also no Bringers/Givers. The idea is that, I think, PvE players can craft their own ascended armor while WvW players rely on the ascended WvW armor (and also the legendary WvW armor) purchased with Skirmish tickets without PvEing too much. But these are just speculations, the facts are the following:
- The ascended and legendary WvW armor (and I think the PvP armor too, don't own one of them) have all stats, including Bringer's and Giver's. Like stated above one can look up in the API: for example exotic, ascended, legendary triumphant hero's armor, where the id 628 and 1032 are giver's and bringers (Or the other way around). Or I can post a screenshot if you want. Also ascended WvW Mistforged weapons have all 33 stats: ascended gs, while exotic doesn't.--Tolkyria (talk) 16:31, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
Notes don't mention time for Memories of Battle acquisition[edit]
The notes mention how many WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets a full set requires and how long it takes to get that many. Shouldn't the same be done for Memories of Battle since those are acquired in pretty much the same way but at a slower rate? Kaele Forester (talk) 18:04, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Memories of Battle aren't really timegated compared to Skirmish Claim Tickets: reward tracks can be repeated infinitely often (or only started to get all Tier 1, 2nd reward (5) Memory of Battles) and even the repeatable last tier of skirmish reward track grants them. Furthermore, they can be bought in the trading post. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:27, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Totally forgot about them being available on the Trading Post. I withdraw my comment. Lol. Kaele Forester (talk) 19:11, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
