Comments[edit]

I thought I'd begin some basic research on what the salvage rate is on these from non-rare versions. As suspected, rate is gonna be low. Based on the TP price (10s for fines, 18s for masterworks, 14g for rares) of the non-rare items being less than 1% of the rare price, I'd assume the chances are pretty slim. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:56, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

I was kind of put off by the initial fine rarity findings so I bought masterworks instead based on this comment. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 22:10, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
... yeah sod using black lion kits. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:33, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
I got bored of documenting the failed salvages (I think 1 in 60 is pretty representative as the salvage rate from masterworks - it would be cheaper if it weren't random, but at this point I've spent more on salvage kits and blues/greens than I would have if I'd bought Reclaimed Metal Plates at 10g each. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:10, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

This page was looking like a bit of a mess, so I've combined all of your separate tables into one. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:50, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Added up the data so far on masterwork rarity items for Mystic/Basic Salvage kits below. It's trending towards which salvage kit you use being irrelevant.

Rarity Quantity salvaged Reclaimed Metal Plates received Success rate Kit used
Masterwork 1415 47 0.0332 Mystic Salvage Kit
Masterwork 418 14 0.0364 Basic/Copper Fed

Hmm neat. Additionally, the data above (ignoring item level and assuming kits are the same) seems to indicate roughly 1.1% RMPs for Fine, and 3.4% RMPs for Masterwork. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:50, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
Article says 100% chance for the rares to drop a plate. I used a Mystic kit 3 times and a Black Lion kit 3 times and found that to be untrue. Seems I was doing something wrong with my salvaging. Nvm. Puk (talk) 10:02, 2 February 2019 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/09/19[edit]

Add recipe for Gift of Dedication please. --Nasurelin (talk) 10:18, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Done; but that gift can't be crafted yet anyway, so I'm not sure that's a good idea... -Darqam (talk) 13:28, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes, I was also unsure if we should include recipes that cannot be crafted so I let it be. Sythe 16:44, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
I saw it has been already added at Chack Egg and/or Auric Ingot page(s) before I made this feedback entry. I made it to make articles consistent. I probably should've mentioned that in request. Nasurelin (talk) 14:12, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
