More detailed drop/acquisition infos[edit]
I have completed several if not all of these metas, and killed several legendary bounties, but I don't seem to have learned this recipe at any point (I checked my main and other characters with the crafting professions listed here to be using that recipe). What exactly are the drop conditions for this recipe? Is it a guaranteed drop upon completing any of the metas or killing any of the legendaries? What constitutes "completing" a meta? Taking part in any events involved or do you need to complete all of them? --84.61.217.148 21:03, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- It's a small, random chance. I know I've gotten one from the Doppelganger/Ascension event. I've added in that it's a small chance. Thanks! --Imry ☎ 21:58, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- Similarly I had one of these drop from the Maw event back when I was farming it for elite spec weapons. -Chieftain Alex 22:54, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- I received one during the Junundu Rising meta event. I'm not exactly sure where it came from as I just found it in my inventory, but I'm almost certain it came from the Awakened Chest that spawns after destroying all the siege engines in Fort Huduh. ~Mervil 17:31, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- Honestly the best option if you want the stats is just to make something cheap (i.e. doesn't require extra materials) such as Rabid or Dire and then use the Mystic Forge to change it via Intact Mosaic (which is also cheap). Plaguedoctor's (Nerashi's) is even cheaper but requires volatile magic. It's one of the problems I find with the Crystal Desert zones, in that you need an absurd amount of time to obtain grieving stats (funerary trinkets and to a lesser extent weapons/armor as well due to the elegy mosaics). --Life Infusion «T» 15:15, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- I just got this from the bouncy chest after Defeat Branded Josso Essher in the Ascension Chamber --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 05:52, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
