Feedback 2015/11/08[edit]

This page should only pull meta events that occur at night, as Night and the Enemy is a nighttime meta event for Verdant Brink. This list pulls all events.23.28.51.252 03:14, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Merge Reasons[edit]

I asked Rubi Bayer, an Anet Staffer, about it. She said it was not a meta event, but a map meta event only. Hence the reason it needs to be merged, there is no meta event named "Night and the Enemy" unless you want to fight with Anet about how they want to categorize their stuff. - Doodleplex 22:33, 15 July 2016 (UTC)

The split is the same reason that King of the Jungle and Against the Chak Gerent are not the same thing. I've given you links to images explaining what map meta events appear as in-game but you refuse to actually listen to anything and maintain you false understanding of it. Want to ask Rubi again and have her explain that Against the Chak Gerent doesn't exist to fit what you want to call map meta events? Map meta events are not displayed in the meta event interface. I only asked her about that event at the time because there seemed to be an issue about it, there's no issue with the one you listed as far as I know. Also, what you labeled "map meta event" is the reward coordinator box. - Doodleplex 22:57, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
What's the issue you made up with this one that you're not just going to repeat with Defending Tarir? You just decided to take the name from your newly renamed "reward coordinator box" and use it for a map meta event for Tangled Depths, but refuse to maintain consistency into Verdant Brink or Auric Basin. That section of the interface is the map meta event interface and it's the only place that Securing Verdant Brink appeared; explain where you're getting each map meta event name outside of that interface. It's not my reward coordinator box, that's what it's called, and Defending Tarir is also just a map meta event, not a meta event and that should be dealt with as well. I also asked Stephane for information regarding the map meta in order to clear up confusion, because I figured if I got an official answer from Anet there couldn't be a debate. - Doodleplex 23:27, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
So explain where Against the Chak Gerent, Advancing on the Blighting Towers, and Against the Mouth of Mordremoth (or any of the historical ones) appear outside of that box. Because you're just making stuff up at this point and creating terrible inconsistencies in the pages. Alex already partially cleaned up what you did to Defending Tarir (historical map meta event is misnamed because you incorrectly called for a merge; historical should be the disambig article the way it was originally created), so please don't trash it just because you want to again...
Also, give a link to any reference to "reward coordinator box." Mora 23:40, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
Tone the hostility and revert warring way, way, way back. - Tanetris (talk) 01:06, 16 July 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2023/03/25[edit]

I really think a listing of which pact rally point goes to which boss during the night meta (when choppers are present) should be on this page. The only place I can find that info is within the text of each boss individual page. A table listing here seems appropriate for a single place to look. Alternatively, the page for pact rally points could have this information as well.

Good idea. ~Sime 14:29, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
