Talk:Mining pick
While playing the first open beta weekend I noticed I had something like 'ruined copper' in my inventory and when I moused over it it said 'your mining pick was not of a good enough quality to mine this material'. I didn't think to get a screenshot as I was having too much fun at the time but did anyone else notice this and does it mean that better picks will be avaialble to craft/buy when the game goes live? 85.210.165.56 06:33, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
New mining picks[edit]
Apparently some new fine (blue) mining picks are missed here. For example, the picks (and other tools) sold by Barre Scorchmane in LA. In particular, he sells the Scavenger's Mining Pick, which is listed twice: 50 picks for 350 and 7350 karma. It's quite strange, or maybe there is a catch :-) Good work for active Wiki authors. --109.252.109.50 16:20, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Unlimited mining picks[edit]
I propose either separating unlimited mining picks into a different table, or removing them and using some other existing list of them such as the Unlimited gathering tool nav (to reduce duplicate work and information). Of course, whatever is done here would also have to be done to Logging axe and Harvesting sickle.
Example:
- Unlimited gathering tools have infinite charges, no required level, and are capable of mining any ore node. Some are provided with a gathering glyph already applied.

- Sounds like a reasonable proposal. I'm all for separating gem store tools and limited tools you buy for normal currencies. Go for it! talk 13:16, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
