The "Icebrood Saga Portal Tome" is missing "Travel to the Eye of the North" The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nekron-99 (talk) at 16:34, 9 April 2022‎ (UTC).

That is mentioned below the table. —Kvothe (talk) 18:29, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

Feedback 2022/09/22[edit]

This article has devolved into a jumbled mess.

First, why does this article keep including an exhaustive section about teleportation devices on it? The german page that links to this article focuses solely on teleportation items, is easy to read, and illustrates what the article is about. This section ought to be given its own article.

Second, I was redirected to this page from a variety of links referring to "Portal Stones," "Portal Scrolls," and other terms. All of these terms coming from the referring articles were mentioned in the description of teleportation devices section. It was easy to understand that they all are about the same thing - teleportation items. Now all these references were removed.

The title of this article, "Map navigation," is confusing to me. Everything about using a map has already been covered in the Map article. Why not use a self evident name like "transport" or "travel," as has been suggested?

Two days ago this article had aggregated various forms of transportation methods. It was really cool to have because some of them I had never heard of before visiting this page. Since it appeared that someone was gradually expanding the article, I assume the list wasn't complete. It's sad that all of this beneficial information was completely deleted for an unexplained reason, especially while someone was working on expanding the article. I tried searching for an alternative comprehensive list of transportation methods on this wiki using terms like travel, transport, and transportation, but to no avail.

Last but not least, Drizzle Wood capture points are actually reached by air drop rather than teleportation, and thermal tubes or skritt tunels actually do not act as teleporters since you have to walk to it. Why was it put in the section about teleporting? --77.111.246.40 14:02, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

Not once I've heard or read any player referring to it as "transport". Neither as "map navigation", tho. Whatever you decide to call it, it will be likely not used at all, and instead having "map teleport", "teleport scroll" and "teleport tome" redirected to this page would likely be sued more often.
