A flamingo is a moa? Ramei Arashi 16:57, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

in-game? yes. IRL? no, they do not share the same real-life family. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 17:31, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
They were called pink moas in BWE 2, but changed to flamingos in BWE 3. -- User Kirbman sig.png Kirbman 21:29, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
The pet has been a Juvenile Flamingo since BWE1 (will double-check my screenshots, but I'm pretty certain). Maybe the non-pet version was a Pink Moa, but not the pet. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:55, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
I saw Pink Moas as neutral mobs next to Juvenile Flamingos as charmable pets in the stress test yesterday. Seems Anet can't make up their mind. I don't care which name they go with, personally, these things look nothing like real flamingos.--Gerroh 15:27, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
I think the pets alone are "Flamingo" whereas the normal mobs can be either Pink Moa or Flamingo. Konig/talk 23:21, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Well as of today, the pet is a Juvenile Pink Moa, and I see this page has already been moved. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:22, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Killable Juvenile Pink Moa[edit]

I was playing in Brisban Wildlands today at the Venlin Vale region when I found a Juvenile Pink Moa with a white name. I was able to tab onto it (target it) and kill it. It provided no resistance and took a bit longer to kill than a regular moa. MethodicMockingbird 18:46, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
