says bows and pistol as well as warhorns and torches - what about rifles? are they included too? Getefix 21:59, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Given as before it says bows and pistols it says it makes ranged weapons, yes rifles are included. Thering 22:12, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
Shouldn't that be noted on the page then? Zolann The Irreverent 21:31, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
It says ranged weapons. There is no reason the reader should exclude any ranged weapon. -User Eive Windgrace Harbinger of the Deceiver.png 21:37, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Properly, 'Ranged Weapons' would include wands and staves. And perhaps for casters, daggers and swords as well... Er... I like 'guns and bows' Ranged Weapons seems to be a vague term for GW2Torrenal 23:15, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Conciseness[edit]

This page is hugely long. That's not to say that it doesn't have good information on it, just that I think it would be overwhelming for someone trying to find their way in basic crafting. I created a modified version that is much more easily navigated and provides more general information. That then lets the viewer choose to dial in for more information in a specific category instead of being bombarded with every single item that a Huntsman can craft or use at once. Please check it out here and weigh in with your opinions. Wombatt 22:47, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Right now the Huntsman page is the only crafting page which seems to be well structured to me. Shouldn't we have all the crafting pages adapted to this structure? Jbattja 20:42, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Don't want to break page but the sigil uses 1 mithril ingot and 1 onyx core 70.131.55.157 22:33, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

unique weapons[edit]

I don't know how to add to the page, but the following should be added:

Recipies from Wupwup Chief, 154 kar each

Godskull Shortbow
Godskull Trumpet
Godskull Brazier
Godskull Musket
Godskull Flintlock
Godskull Longbow
Godskull Harpoon Gun

all are lvl 65, bonuses to power and precision, and 3% magic find

Artisan Maintenance Oil[edit]

It's missing on the page, but I can't see the list, so I can't edit it in. Lacrisma.1540 (talk) 22:41, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Added it to the page. The Artisan Maintenance Oil article itself was using the wrong 'type' i.e. it had 'utility item' instead of 'consumable', so replacing the two added it to the list. Thanks for the feedback! —Ventriloquist 22:49, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing it (and so quickly) Lacrisma.1540 (talk) 22:56, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Introduction[edit]

Hello, I think I have found a problem with this page, as in top, it states that huntsman is useful for many classes but guardians without the Dragonhunter elite specialisation but this is false as guardians use torches which are crafted by the huntsman! Just typing it here as I don't want to create a mess! Crusader of Tyria (talk) 02:24, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

The first sentence is correct as it states that the crafting discipline is not useful to a guardian without the dragonhunter specialization. —Kvothe (talk) 10:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
Torches can be used by normal guardians though, so I am for tweaking the sentence. EDIT: NVM I misread the sentence, however I think we should list all professions and specs that can be of use of each crafting spec, similar to the Guardian#Crafting sections of the professions. ~Sime 15:42, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
