Fire Elemental[edit]

((i knew there would be this glyph, when everyone was talking about the ice elemental!)) ...So they all deal damage, but only the Fire Elemental is noted as just damage; does it cause burning, or does it do more damage compared to the other elementals (being a "destruction" element)? Does anybody know? ~~ User Kiomadoushi sig.png Kiomadoushi 07:56, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

It most likely has more destructive AoE skills than others. You know, how the elements are characterized on official sources like manuscripts and websites. Mediggo 18:05, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Locking[edit]

From the looks of this [[1]] right around the 7-minute mark, the glyph is locked while the elemental is alive and doesn't even start to recharge until after the elemental dies. Lysander 15:24, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Summoned Elementals[edit]

What do you guys think about making seperate pages for all the summoned elementals? They now link to the regular foes and that might create some confusion.~Nohjo 17:35, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

I support this notion. I also support splitting ranger pets into their own articles, but that is a different matter. --140.211.43.65 17:48, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Seconded. The summoned elementals have their own set of abilities (the ice elemental snares and heals for example, and the earth elemental grants aoe protection). We could list the lesser and greater variants on the same page though. 80.112.181.245 09:04, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
I think the summoned elementals should remain on the skill page. When people are looking up an skill, they want to see what it does, and the best way to show that is to show the elementals abilities, making them click an additional 4 links to see one skill as a whole seems odd. Besides, it doesn't take up much space to list the data. If the separate pages does end up being made, be sure to make them (summon) variants, since the normal types exist in game (unless the abilities are the same, but I'm fairly certain they aren't). 174.60.228.165 00:37, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Ice Elemental Cooldowns[edit]

Frozen Ground and Cleansing Wave both have a 20 second CD when casted by the ice elemental.--Inoshiro 18:06, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

If you are certain of that, why dont add it to the page? User Yullive Consume Soul.png Yullive 15:35, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

I don't understand how the stated bug is a bug. :-S --Combatter 18:52, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Possible bug: I had summoned an earth elemental with this skill then used Fire Elemental Powder and suddenly found myself with 2 Embers, one of which died when the earth elemental from the glyph would normally have expired (60 seconds) while the other lasted the usual 5 minutes. Can anyone else confirm this behavior? 73.153.67.62 06:33, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

False facts[edit]

- Fire Elemental uses a melee attack
- Earth Elementals attacks aren't faster than the attacks of the other Elementals

What level requirement?[edit]

Exactly what level is required to get one of these summon skills? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.180.166.128 (talkcontribs).

It's an elite skill and those are available at level 30. — snogratUser Snograt signature.png 14:25, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
