Fixed?[edit]

Has this been completely fixed? Maybe there should be a note to relog if this story stalls? --Life Infusion «T» 16:55, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Are you encountering issues? Most of them should be fixed. —Ventriloquist 19:42, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
Probably the one where you step through the Blish portal too fast -- instead you're supposed to wait for the appearance of the green instance marker and it doesn't update. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:05, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
I did it on the first day it was released and it didn't work at all. Did it second day with relogging, haven't redone it since then. --Life Infusion «T» 05:10, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
Hm, try it again. I had the same issues as you, but it worked roughly 2-3 days later, so it should work correctly now. —Ventriloquist 10:00, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
By did it , I mean I completed it the second day of release :p --Life Infusion «T» 19:37, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
Apparent bug here, but if you destroy any of the Trebs before you get the mission to destroy them, they don't count for it. I broke two of them before Canach showed up, and after destroying the rest along the Front Line shores, I was perpetually stuck at 6/8 and had to quit.
Wow, so many bugs.. this really is an unpleasant experience!

Achievements[edit]

For Glory Hog, you need to go plant the seeds before Canach does. The seeds are, in the order that he would do them: 1 - directly east of the bombs on the other side of the little river; 2 - south of the swamp by the water and river, west of the place where Rytlock and Rox will eventually set up shop on the actual map, the inquest cannon on the eastern island is kind of pointing to the spot on the other side of the river; 3 - northeast of the place where Rytlock and Rox will eventually set up shop, in the ravine between the two high rock faces. I have an edited screenshot that maybe explains it better, but I can't figure out how to attach it.

Additionally, for Trip the Quantum Fantastic, you have to get an Awakened's attention in front of it, and then teleport behind and in front back and forth until the Awakened shows the dazed animation (white circles around the character). Make sure you start with 0 heat ticks, because this can take up the entire bar (ie: you need to teleport 5+ times, and since there are 10 ticks and the skill costs 2, the bar fills quickly). Once they are stunned, you can turn into a tree to cool down and avoid suspicion when the Awakened recovers. AnastashaRomanov (talk) 01:19, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

During the defense of the portal phase "Assemble your army", attacking minions may invisibly spawn inside of the rocks and be un-targetable but prevent story progress. Killed them by randomly placing bombs around that area until I saw damage, others say leaving the objective area, running to another part of the instance then coming back will fix the problem. Mine was a defiler spawning a mummy that I couldn't target, couldn't attack - he could attack me, but even AOE didn't touch him. Tried bombs too, no luck - just couldn't do anything about him and eventually had to relog. Tak (talk) 07:49, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Instance Patched to Prevent Spare Parts Farming[edit]

I played this back when it first released and recall the instance bounds were much larger. Now going back to do achievements it seems like they patched the map to be extremely conservative each step of the way keeping you in a cage, but most of all at the last step the instance has become limited to the area directly surrounding the camp. You do however at least have access to 3 turrets to farm 21 parts each time, just take the route along the river to your right when you enter the instance. For 1000 parts you need 48 runs, and each takes no more than 1:30 including loading = about 72 min grind --Dracx (talk) 07:00, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Blish radio text colour[edit]

I see here on the wiki and watched a 2018 youtube video where Blish's radio text colour is indeed red, but I played the instance today and all radio speech was the same blue as Taimi's. Is this a bug or have they changed it sometime since release? -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 22:05, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

Trebuchet aggro range[edit]

Trebuchets seemed to aggro at me at much larger range when I was in tree disguise than otherwise. I went back now in open world to compare the coordinates from memory and screenshots, and it seems I was getting hit ~174 coordinates away, which is 4,100+ range O.o -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 23:34, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

"Enter the portal"[edit]

I would like to add the detail of walkthrough which may be important. During the dialog near the Tomb of Primeval Kings you most likely will stand near the "unstable portal" created by Blish. As usual near such portal, UI shows the prompt "Enter the Rift [F]"; but after the end of the dialog you will also see the typical message panel:

Would you like to continue your story: Forearmed Is Forewarned?"
[Yes (enter instance)] [No (stay in the world)]

The problem is, if you will not wait until the end of conversation for this panel or simply choose "F" instead of "Yes" (because the story objective is "Enter the portal"), you will be teleported to the Domain of Kourna open world without storyline. To continue the story, you will have to return back to this portal and choose the story instance instead (without the dialog, but with the same prompt and panel). It may be not obvious that "portal" in this case means "instance" and not "rift". --87.116.165.86 19:39, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Instance Length[edit]

This instance is far too long for one session. It should be divided up into two, ideally three separate instances; the assassinations, the sabotage, and the beachhead.
