I think it's the same skill still, just without the energy cost. It was available at Gamescom and will be available at PAX, so eventually we'll have footage to confirm. - Infinite - talk 12:43, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

From this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyuUUdRYD-g you can argue Ether Renewal is no longer the default healing skill for level 1 elementalist (it' s been replaced with Gliph of Elemental Armony) and it' s possibly been removed along with the energy bar (deduction based speculation, but bear this with me) CaiusTheBig 10:22, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

So i suppose it' s not been the main healing option for a level 1 Ele (video u posted shows high-level elementalist sklls)in Pax Prime 2011 as they are reworking it, maybe rebalancing...don' t you think so?
