While the crafting recipe is pure speculation, this weapon is in the game, and can be previewed with the chat link [&AgHhdwAA] --Turinpt
How is this made?[edit]
Do you "just" need Sunrise and Twilight or do you also need a Gift of Fortune and a Gift of Mastery? - Yandere 18:49, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah you just need the 1200 Gold for the materials, 2 million Karma, World Completion, 676 Skill Points, 1000 Badges of Honor and 1000 Ascalonian Tears. No big deal.--AtzaMan 21:23, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
- I prommisu guys. After 2 more month somebody will have this greatsword and because it will be a noob without a life he will sell it for 1 g to me.194.116.212.2 08:30, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
- I have put together a(n admittedly rough) list of requirements in terms of base materials separated by how they are obtained. Note that I am not including steps such as buying recipes, and that I also am not breaking down ingredients for luck-based crafting (Dusk, Dawn, Mystic Clover). Please update/alter/remove as necessary. --Guineas 05:24, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Namesake[edit]
Looks like this is the first weapon to be named for how long it takes to create. talk 16:46, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Eternity is nothing compared to FSD!!!! BUAHAHAHA!!!213.114.120.249 19:19, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
No foot print effects?[edit]
Really why would we make it if it did not have any effects. We would just keep twilight and sunrise and use them as we please. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.91.127.186 (talk).
- This is speculation but many of the Legendary weapons seem unfinished still. I believe and hope Anet will in the future added footsteps and animation effects to Legionaries that still lack these. Even if they were to add footsteps for this legendary it is ridiculous to think you would fuse the 2 swords when you can just swap them, "as you please." However the option is there nonetheless. -- Fey 10:04, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Correction there are footstep effects, you leave behind a trail of blue prints. Not nearly as exciting as the individual effects though. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.21.31.179 (talk) at 10:21, 5 December 2012 (UTC).
Night/Day switch Animation[edit]
Is there an animation when it changes from night to day? (and is the hilt the same on both, or does it change too?) Chieftain Alex 15:29, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for the very long delay on this, but no one seems to have answered it. There is a slow motion YouTube video here with all the effects for Eternity. It seems that the transition is a very quick replace transition, with the previously present effects fading out for the replacements. Abased Fear (talk) 18:10, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Transmuting prior to making?[edit]
Can you transmute either twilight or sunrise BEFORE using them in this recipe? Or, will that mess it up? (Minara (talk) 09:56, 15 June 2013 (UTC))
- Transmuting changes the item on a fundamental level. A transmuted item is uaually not recognized as either of the two item which created it. So it probably will mess things up. I read this somewhere in the forum. The tread migth still be there, the forum is anyway a better place to ask these kind of questions. - Yandere 10:04, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- This should need some experimenting, wich I wouldn't recommend, but from reports of problems with e.g. fractal capacitors it seems that the essence of the item is in the stats. With essence I mean the code that allows it to be used in a mystic forge recipe. If a fractal capacitor was trans mutated with e.g. a fervid censer, giving it the looks of the flower, it could still be upgraded in the mystic forge, but it would revert to the looks of the capacitor. If this is the same you can put a different skin on either sunrise or twilight and still use it to make eternity. If you use the skin of either of them and tranfer the skin to a greatsword with different stats you can't make eternity anymore. However, I wouldn't experiment at all.195.240.63.18 13:59, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
Update[edit]
This section needed an update. I just made Eternity with both Sunrise and Twilight having been transmuted previously. It works fine. This issue was patched out a while back and it not a drama. 1.132.105.73 12:24, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
Whirling Wrath Note moved[edit]
Moved the note that 213.181.41.65 added. Can we get a confirmation on this? Leaving it in until someone debunks it Smoke (talk) 10:10, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
No more Sparkfly Fen bug[edit]
Seems the bug has been fixed, so I removed it from the section. screen --Ayarati (talk) 16:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
