Salvaging Boreal Weapons Not Skins[edit]

Can anyone verify the statement about skin destruction granting ingots? This did not work for me. It's not a big deal since I wasn't planning on using the skin anyways, but if the method doesn't work it would be best to remove it. I don't believe I've ever seen that behavior with any other type of skin either, salvaging has always been the only thing to return materials. Daine 04:57, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

No, destroying the skins purchased from the vendor doesn't award ingots. Maybe the original poster meant salvaging the created weapons.~Miss Lana (talk) 05:33, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
Yes, salvaging the weapons will give you ingots. I salvaged a great sword and got 1 ingot. 99.108.212.197 20:27, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

Chest of Valor[edit]

  • Opening small chest of valor with level 1 or 2 resilience essence manipulation mastery = 1 eitrite ingot
  • Opening medium chest of valor with level 2 resilience essence manipulation mastery = 2 eitrite ingot

I suppose if you open a small/medium chest of resilience with vigilance mastery, or vigilance using the valor mastery it would be similar. Haven't gotten around to format this in a way suitable for the article. --Life Infusion «T» 20:49, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

Regardless of which mastery is needed, it's 2 from medium chests and 1 from small.~Miss Lana (talk) 03:24, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Armorsmith, Leatherworker, Tailor?[edit]

The item description says it's also a crafting material for the 3 "armor making" crafting disciplines. So, are eitrite ingots actually used in making any armor pieces? --180.129.20.167 21:09, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

Those disciplines use them for 24-32 slot Boreal bags. Don't know about armor. --Mayhap (talk) 00:05, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

Chest Sizes[edit]

So with max masteries in all 3, the small chests give 1 ingot, the medium chests give 2, and the large give 3 IF you have the max mastery. You CAN open a large chest with the second tier mastery, but you will only get 2 ingots from them.~Miss Lana (talk) 05:54, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

Light/jumping puzzle reward chests[edit]

Some of the Light puzzles have reward chests with two ingots in them (with max masteries, I don't know about without them). Possibly it is the "indoor" light puzzles with associated "Mystery of" achievements. The ingots are in the large chest after you complete all the segments not in the small chests at the end of each segment. Possibly it is only the puzzles with multiple segments that have these larger chests. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 47.54.55.56 (talk) at 16:49, 10 February 2020‎ (UTC).

As you said and hereby confirming, there are three mysteries that have a big final chest:
However, the three chests do not have a name, nor have the essence chest "Smash" text to open ("Interact" instead) and probably do not require an essence mastery. So in my opinion they should not be considered as essence chests but should have an own page. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:20, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
