Defiant is an always on buff on the boss. If you hit the boss with CC and he has no stacks of Indignant he will gain a number of stacks (from 10 to 25). While Indignant the boss will be immune to CC, CC skills remove indignant stacks. So in effect every 11th CC on the boss sticks (if boss is the kind to get 10 stacks).

Interrupts whilst Defiant

Using CC on a foe with Defiant seems to cause an Interrupt if the foe is using a skill. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a bug? --Combatter 18:46, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

It's possibile of the the message displaying without interruption taking place. You can check if it counts as an interrupt using Distracting Strikes or similar while the enemy has stacks of Defiant.--Relyk ~ talk > 01:15, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Not completely gone
