Talk:Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic

We're up to 6 of these now (two not docked up yet), and I'm thinking next week we'll see three more. This could get unwieldy. SarielV 20 x 20px 14:58, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Somehow we're smart enough to split the prequisites but not the follow-on? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:07, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
It made sense at the time :) There was enough commonality that three pages would be highly redundant. Personally, I'd rather keep it to one if it were possible. SarielV 20 x 20px 20:18, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
Having thought about this for a few minutes, and after some ingame input, I think that documenting each event separately is just confusing to be honest. Sticking all of the similar events on this page could be an option, but then I don't know quite how we'd handle the failure event, which is different for each zone. test version -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:39, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
I didn't think there was a follow-up event to this one. What is it? SarielV 20 x 20px 20:18, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
This event is the same in terms of npcs so I left it a singular page when making them - back when there were only three locations, and three levels. The previous and if there's a failure follow up would just be three articles (one per zone) unless these spread outside of Blazeridge/Snowden/Maelstrom. AFAIK, there is no failure event for this but I haven't seen one way or the other. As I've seen it, it's three events per locations - the initial event (split on wiki by zone due to different enemies), a success event (this, no difference by zone), and a failure event (the imbued dragon minions, split on the wiki due to different event names and enemies).
IF this event has a failure follow up then we can use three of the five | event_failure = parameters. Konig 20:23, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
EDIT: Looking at your sandbox, Alex, it looks like you've confused this article for the first event in the chain (which is already split). Konig 20:24, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
I chose this talk page since it wasn't split, but I'm talking about all 3 events. (defeat minions → defeat coalescence // defeat imbued). -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:00, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
Well so long as they remain in those three zones, I think we're fine. If they do spread, it might be worth renaming them by dragon minion type instead of zone name. Having too many would just be odd. This one I think can remain unchanged since there'd just be three preceding and maybe three succeeding. Konig 21:17, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

I can confirm that currently there are only three events per location. This and theimbued dragon minion events have no follow up at all. Konig 15:42, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

What happens exactly when this event fails?[edit]

Does the champion coalescence just run away when the time is up? Does anything else happen? --138.75.144.128 20:07, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

event levels[edit]

IMO, it doesn't make sense for levels 17,22,24 to be outside Snowden Drifts, levels 42,45,50 to be outside Blazeridge Steppes, and levels 65,67 to be outside Mount Maelstrom. Is there an elegant way to display levels depending on zone? --BryghtShadow (talk) 11:21, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

Hardcode it by {{event icon|boss}} [[Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic]] (17, 22, 24). → Event boss (tango icon).png Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic (17, 22, 24) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 15:26, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
