Why someone erase data about "minis collection" ???? I'm expanding this section, stop erase my contributions, thx.

I've some screenshots to prove it, who can i leave a screenshot ? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Seiken Deaths Angel (talk).

Hey hey, I noticed your question and moved it to your IP talk page for now (please log in so I can move it to the appropriate user talk page instead).
As for your question, could you please specify? What data was erased? - Infinite - talk 14:51, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
EDIT: I only just noticed that it regards one of the achievements on the Community section of achievements, I'll move it back then. - Infinite - talk 14:54, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Nothing important, I've already added my contributions. It was about the minis collection title : rank 1 = 20 minis, then rank 2 = 40, rank 3 = 50, and finally rank 4 = 60 minis.
So, who can i add a screenshot or a picture to prove it into this discussion page ? --Seiken Deaths Angel 14:58, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
You can use the option Special:Upload to upload the screenshots (but please put {{ArenaNet image|screenshot}}{{user image|Seiken Deaths Angel}} in the summary field, and prefix the file name with "User Seiken Deaths Angel " (without quotes), doing so for every screenshot due to wiki formatting), after which you can link to them here with the format [[:File:yourfilename.extension]] to "prove" your edits. We already assume your edits are correct to begin with, but you're always encouraged to leave a source or reference for edits.
Also, please indent comments with an appropriate amount of colons to keep a reading flow (also a standard wiki practise). - Infinite - talk 15:08, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you very much ! --Seiken Deaths Angel 15:26, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Doesn't matter anymore, since the release has 54 on the title. Where can I put the "Miniature Collector" banner that shows up when you get them all? Wonderland 07:10, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Follow up... here are the two images, one of the banner and one of the achievements window. Please insert and format appropriately, I don't want to mess up that beautiful chart. Wonderland 07:18, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

We don't have images like that for any achievements, there's nothing special about mini collector that would make us need them for this specific achievement. I'll just go ahead and delete them since they won't be used. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:44, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Thirst Slayer[edit]

I think it might be a bit misleading on this page, to say that potions count toward Thirst Slayer. Suggest adding in brackets that research is ongoing, because I have personally tried approximately 30 types of potions and not found any that contribute to the Thirst Slayer title. If the person who added the reference to the individual potion (that they think does count) could specify the source, it would be less misleading. --User BunnyBomb 1.pngBunny - BunnyBomb Talk 16:29, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Thirst Slayer "farming" locations.[edit]

During the last story mission "Victory or Death", after you defeat the big bad guy you'll go back for a victory celebration. In that place you can turn right and go up, past the smiths. There are cooks there and you can talk to them to get infinite Elixir of Heroes. (Some give food or rum, ignore them).

Proceed to spam F, Click, 1, F, Click, 1 for the rest of your life. Honestly after doing that 3000 times I had a giant urge to setup a macro for it and had to stop. This achievement is incredibly stupid, just was killing plants or giants, and killing things with Foci/warhorns/shields :/. If anyone else finds a place to get infinite drinks fast let us know. — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 00:01, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

I think this was fixed. They just give one time consumables. --87.157.179.49 22:08, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

King of the Costume Brawl[edit]

The max tier is 500 and 350 comes before it. You have a total of 15 achievement points when you reach it. I rushed to the max without realising i could add the info to this page while at it. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 22:45, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Thirst Slayer for Karma[edit]

You can use Karma Karma for buying alcohol in gw2, later karma is not so usefull if you don't aim for legendary, you need 700k Karma to be exact. Buy Bottle of Barradin Family Wine.pngBottle of Barradin Family Wine, Bottle of Juniberry Gin.pngJug of Martini or Stein of Ale.pngStein of Golden Ale 50000 or 25000 times and then use them. That's total 700k Karma and 75000 left mouse clicks (or 100000 if buying those for 14 karma).... After using 30k Karma and drinking all Bottle of Juniberry Gin.pngJug of Martini i bought i thought i see beer icon everywhere i look... You can get Karma for this achievement from daily and monthly in pretty short time. Once again: you need 700k karma, Jug of Liquid Karma.pngJug of Liquid Karma = 4500, awarded 1 daily +10 monthly, lets say it's 40 per month, so:

jugs needed
4500 Karma
jugs with Karma Booster needed
6750 Karma
jugs with Karma Booster, 5% karma banner and 15% guild karma booster
7650 Karma
156 jugs, ~4,5 months 104 jugs, ~3,5 months 92 jugs, ~3 months

You can EASILY farm about 30k Karma in week barely even playing, so lets say you have guild boosts, karma booster and ~70 jugs plus karma you have farmed, that's about 1,5 month of Karma not-even-farming. But still..... you need to click click click click click click click click click... Czokalapik Avatar Czokalapik.png 23:59, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Thirst Slayer for free[edit]

I finally got it! After spending countless hours on buying drinks and using them i started Sylvari Thief. After leveling crafting and doing some quests i have started playing storyline, and there it is: Where Life Goes quest! Like always, when i pick up Elixir or something i always drink it (only +1 for achievement, but well). I'm killing, extinguishing fire etc, and there it is lying on the ground: Elixir Bottle, oh, there is "Drink" option, clik... still got bottle... click... ctrl+right click..... EUREKA, Thirst Slayer is growing and growing!. You now just need to move your character from time to time so you won't be disconnected and you'll get achievement in... time... -- Czokalapik Avatar Czokalapik.png 21:59, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

And i'm back with calculations! It takes 1.5 second to complete 1 drink, so you'll need to be in game for...... 41 hours and 40 minutes... -- Czokalapik Avatar Czokalapik.png 22:24, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
If this genuinely progresses the achievement it is considered an exploit (which an account may be suspended for) and should be reported to ArenaNet as soon as possible. - Infinite - talk 01:38, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Not exactly. ANet defined exploit as a hole in the game that allows players to obtain in-game advantages. I don't think you can make a reasonable argument that adding 35 achievement points is an advantage. Thirst Slayer doesn't give any one an extra title to display and it doesn't increase the player's wealth or impact the economy. Before you counter that the player saves the cost of buying 100,000 drinks, remember that it's highly unlikely that anyone would bother with the achievement without this work-around. Further, there are other ways to get the title without spending coin.
In short, at worst, it's a benign loophole. 75.37.21.227 02:24, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Melodramatic much? You can't get banned for this bug.--Relyk ~ talk > 04:46, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Obligatory warning was obligatory. It's still using unintended behaviour as a way to gain achievement points (not a direct player's effectiveness advantage, but still an advantage). - Infinite - talk 12:51, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
You're right, the benefit of exploiting a bug to max thirst slayer means you can ignore the monthly! Better still, you get a giant epeen by having 35 more achievement points than your friends and a vanity title. What an advantage!--Relyk ~ talk > 18:18, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Mini Collector[edit]

I was wondering if someone could tell me if the Special Mini's are supposed to be counted toward the Mini Collector achievment. If not, I think that's something that should be mentioned here.124.170.94.188 17:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

The Special Minis do NOT count towards the achievement. It is stated on the Mini page in the notes, but I added to the notes on the achievement page as well. Kenrid (talk) 17:59, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Set II[edit]

Any reason why completion of set 2 only requires 44/46 minis instead of all of them like sets 1 & 3? Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 01:34, 22 November 2014 (UTC)

Active guild member achieve[edit]

Any suggestions on if notes should be made that the active guild member achieve is no longer possible because the guild no longer gets influence? Or is it still possible just under a different counter method? If this is mentioned on the achieve specific page, note should also be made here, imo. 32.212.104.223 20:00, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Feedback 2021/01/05[edit]

Tried the tonics but none of them increased the total of the achievement for me. I am on tier 3 / 5 if that matters. --74.69.8.13 17:59, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
