I spotted this guy while I was in the midst of taking notes. I assume this is what we get if one of the destroyers in the event manages to get at the ley line energy we are supposed to protect. As such, it possibly could take the form of any of the destroyers in the event, not just the destroyer troll. SarielV 08:24, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

I encountered another one of these events in Snowden Drifts, involving icebrood champions. I didn't notice what level the event was or any specific info about it, other than that it was north of Valslake Waypoint. Out of curiosity I went back to the same area, and there was one of the ley-line energy defense events going on. Nobody else was there, so I let it fail. After the failure, one of the icebrood turned into a champion and started the Aberration event. So it looks like this is what happens when the dragon minions absorb too much ley-line energy during the defense event. FaulenArsch (talk) 03:32, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Do you remember which model icebrood was used? Goliath, Wolf, etc? I made an article for that champion at Champion Imbued Aberration (Icebrood) so feel free to correct it if it isn't Goliath (I think I saw somewhere it was goliath but I may be wrong). Konig 05:04, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Varying models

Yeah, 3 destroyer models, 3 branded models, and 5 icebrood models at least for these champions. Konig 20:44, 17 May 2016 (UTC)

As it has varying models, peharps like some other NPCs, one image is used and there's a gallery section at the to bottom for the other appearances? - Do_odleplex 21:07, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

It might be worthwhile getting images of these bosses as they have unique particle affects caused by Ley-line Imbued. Konig 21:36, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

I've added the image for the crab model. No picture taken of them is going to be all that great simply because of the afore-mentioned particle affects, but this is as best as I could get. Falren (talk) 19:05, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

Loot Drops

I killed 1 today north of Magmatic Waypoint, and it dropped a Steel Chest. When I picked it up I got:
1 Sharp Claw
1 Gilded Strongbox (exotic)
1 Rampager's Black Earth Trident of Force (masterwork)

Upon opening the exotic gilded strongbox, I got:
2 Piles of Incandescent Dust
1 cleric's Black Earth Trident of Earth (masterwork)
3 Piles of Bloodstone Dust

So it seems to drop fewer Gilded Strongboxes than the Champion Coalescence. I usually get 2-3 Gilded Strongboxes (of varying rarities) when I kill a Champion Coalescence. --138.75.144.128 22:10, 24 May 2016 (UTC)

It's also a different type of strongbox. The Aberration drops a Destroyer box, while the Coalescence drops elemental boxes. SarielV 19:48, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

1 Rampager's Reinforced Scale Boots of Rage (masterwork)
Second one gave me:
1 Gilded Strongbox (exotic)
