Daily Limit[edit]

Is there a maximum quantity of rubies that can be collected from nodes per account per day? I recall some discussion on that put the max at 37 (not counting the home instance), but I could not locate it. I will check over the next few days and update this note. The Bloodstone Crystals page says:
An account is able to harvest 35 nodes each day, with each character being able to contribute a maximum of 28 to that limit. The home instance node does not contribute to meeting this limit.

Gathering rate?[edit]

Blood Ruby seems to have a significantly lower gathering rate than Petrified Wood and Fresh Winterberry.

I'm not sure if there has been any data collection about it, but just as a data point with a Guild Gathering Banner Boost out of 16 nodes I got 3 measly Blood Rubies. But I remember similar runs where I got zero. (On the other hand the Petrified Wood gathering rate seems to be between 50-100% per node, and Winterberry is probably closer to 200%.) -- kazerniel (talk) 22:06, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Another round with the same banner, 17 full nodes, 6 rubies. -- kazerniel (talk) 21:56, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Did some data gathering, then forgot to upload the results here: Out of 295 regular nodes I got 85 rubies, which is 28.81% gathering rate per node, and 9.6% per strike. (All of this was with Guild Gathering Banner Boost active.) -- kazerniel (talk) 13:39, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
They changed the droprate in Game_updates/2019-03-05#Update - March 5, 2019 so the above data is no longer accurate. -- kazerniel (talk) 17:16, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
