Tie?[edit]

So wonder what happens when 2 teams get 500 points at the same time. Wonder if it make Blue win just like Kurzicks won in Gw1 Alliance battles. (K>L / B>R) Wapakalypse 12:54, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Kurzicks are no longer in GW2. But the pirates remain. Ha! Mediggo 13:15, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Hopefully they go by the next/last kill in that rare event, instead of default to one of the two. - Infinite - talk 13:20, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Just to make sure, I think Mediggo lost the point I was trying to make - If two teams hit 500 on same time then due game coding, the team that comes up first in alphabet wins by default. (Blue -> Red, Gw1 wise Kurzick -> Luxon). Hopefully they work it out somehow. Wapakalypse 13:54, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Sudden death - first to break tie wins? Or maybe a random winner, where it picks at random... hopefully. it's surprising how often that kurzick automatic tie win took place ~~ User Kiomadoushi sig.png Kiomadoushi 01:27, 7 March 2012 (UTC)

What has changed in the last eight years?[edit]

Kyhlo was once removed from the game and turned into Ascalon City. The reason being that in some languages it sounds like Cairo. Interesting to see that with last years revolution and battles in Cairo we have this map name now - moon 15:49, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

I believe that Kyhlo was changed to Ascalon City to prevent confusion after pre-searing became post-searing. Changing the outpost name was awkward and confusing to new players. I believe it does not have to do with Cairo or any revolution. David 13:35, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
The name Kyhlo was the original one before the game was released, nope? So the "don't confuse it between pre/post Searing versions" reasoning doesn't make sense here.
Anyway, I wish they explained why Ascalon City is named like that, I'm sure they can give some decent explanation (like being the first city on Ascalon or being renamed because resistance hold there or whatever). And I really wish they included Kyhlo in-game (not The Mists), even if they're some cheap ruins.--Lon-ami 21:41, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Repair Kit[edit]

Can someone please put an brief explanation either here or on the main page about what is entailed in getting the repair kit. Where does it spawn or something. I don't actually know, and I didn't find my answer here, where I believe would be the most logical place to find it. Puk 07:59, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

Bug/Exploit[edit]

A well known bug on this map and Legacy of the Foefire is the destroyable equipment which affects the actual game. I think this should be included in a bug section on both maps. The preceding unsigned comment was added by CyFreeze (talk) at 03:05, 4 January 2014 (UTC).
