The Subversion Rifle is an Inquest device designed to counter the artificial intelligence of an active golem from a distance. When zapped by the subversion ray, an idle golem will immediately make a beeline for the nearest friendly entity and initiate an attack. The effect is short-lived, but may be reapplied as quickly as the power cells can generate another blast. Aggressive golems will often prove resistant to the subversion effect, and other creatures are immune.

Notes[edit]
- Uses the Dark Asuran Rifle skin.
- The weapon is intended for use against the Unstable Bomb Golem found in Experimental Lab Green.
- The Subversion shot will grant several stacks of long-lasting Might to the target; be very careful around Unstable Bomb Golem that have been subverted multiple times.
- The bundle may be dropped and reused, and can be transported via waypoints.
